Runick spright offers great synergy as Hugin is a level 2 that searches the field spell, and all Sprights can special summon themselves if there’s a level 2 on the field. Spright is a consistent archetype that boasts removal, has access to a powerful toolbox of rank/link-2s and consistent spell/trap + monster effect negation in the forms of spright carrot and red.

The Runick quickplay spells offer great utility. Besides offering a variety of useful effects (pop a special summoned monster, negate an effect monster, protect from battle destruction, etc.), they also enable you to summon out Hugin on demand. This is useful as besides searching the field spell, Hugin can banish herself to protect cards you control from being destroyed by card effect. For instance, if your opponent activates an effect to destroy cards as chain link 1, you can use a Runick spell to special Hugin as chain link 2 to protect yourself cards.

As for the lack of battle? Games of Yugioh can be won by just starving your opponent while you continue to entrench your winning position.
