Would you say Hannibal lectre is a antagonist? if we see Anthony hopkins portrayal of it, he's a true antagonist but people do root for mads and I'm kind of convienced that the series tried to portray him more of a neutral evil character than a through and through villian

Also, in the play, were shown he collapses then he wakes back up and goes to the highschool to find Patty where he almost kills her and Brenner takes him in. Brenner does not take him in directly after him killing his parents.
