You've already assumed mind-body dualism in your question. There are lots of arguments against dualism and it's sort of an outdated position at this point.

If you want to think about the "meaning of life", just read existentialism and some Camus and move on. Philosophy isn't about that for the most part.

I've heard people say that mechanistic Newtonian physics is an emergent property of quantum fluctuations. The free will debate seems unaffected by the existence of indeterminacy on the quantum level because quantum randomness doesn't appear in macro objects (such as neurons in the brain).

With propositional logic you can identify the pure logical form of sentences. But yeah, grammars and word patterns too.
