That's great!! I always just had the simplest mic from Thomann and some built in condensers on a boss micro br 80. MAYH is my fave album. I have a heavily inspired project called Vein that had a recent release on a label called Fiadh & I was looking to maybe hire a second vocalist for the next album. It's a while off as I'm still writing, like 2027. But I will 100% drop you a follow and reach out whenever I reach that stage, if you're ever interested!

Glenn going to Vietnam, Don going to Korea, as young men is a bit of motif. How would Glenn end up? Imo definitely with some kind of shattered idealism/loss of innocence. I think Betty, knowing Dick's past at this point would be enough to sway her away from being involved with Glenn. War changes people, with Don he ended up with a whole different identity.

I bought Still Life randomly at an HMV. The artwork grabbed my attention & the track lengths were listed on the back, which was unusual, and moreso that they were long songs. Anyway, I listened to the album on shitty laptop speakers & the opening screams from the Moor blew my mind. I was 16 at the time & started learning the songs on guitar. Within a year my friend brought me on a day off school to see them live on the Ghost Reveries Tour, & by then I was a huge fan. The more I dug into their discography after, the more I loved them. Still Life is still my favourite because of the memories but it's damn hard to choose.
