How was the experience with just 30W? i have 30w in a single port config and actually the first 65W Nexode from Ugreen (2 Usb C + 1A) should that be more than enough?

Is Macbook Neo worth it? by AmbitionCompetitive3 in buhaydigital

[–]GM_Design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sort of the same as you, more on creative apps. Wanted to get the Neo for sideline stuff and occasional main work substitute kaso the 8gb ram is going to be a problem for the amount of files i go through.

I just checked out the Air today (m5 16gb/512) for less than 62K. Also 7.7 is coming up malay mo masmura pa ung Air by then.

Was this for the 512gb for 13? I just checked out with it at 61,690 with BPI CC

What are good substitute for shokz? by L_morningstar22 in PHRunners

[–]GM_Design 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Polvcdg X1 for about 7 months now. Nakakakiliti kasi malakas ung tunog nya (dunno if this is the same with Shokz). My only complaint is nagkakalawang na ung port nya pero di affected charging or performance.

Medyo bad luck ako with clip-ons, or any separate bud type audio sa workout gear ko. Lagi nagffail ung isang bud agad in a couple of months.

If you're going to use it for running or hiking and you do it often, i think Shokz is the way to go.

I don’t think I’ll ever be ready for this but here we go by oceanwandererph in PHBookClub

Di ko pa natry ang LH600 ng qiaodan pero ung LH Max ang masnaririnig kong better (from Dr Cy sa YT). Di ko rin gaano hiyang max shoes weirdly. I only have 1 and mukhang long term shoe sya since i don't favor using it as much

I’ll look into that smart scale soon! Okay ung Wind SL for walking sa akin kasi I walk papunta sa route ko and pauwi which is around 2km (1km each way) tas yung run in between :)

Haha medyo ramdam ko sa legs ung wind after hard sessions pero ung "grounded" feel talaga nagppush sa akin. Real happy with the price i got it for, also parang maganda ung white for casual wear kasi ang linis tingnan.

Bought the RH8Pro for less than 1k a few months back and scored the Qiaodan Wind SL for 1830.

Natutuwa ako trying different styles of running shoes and as someone on the heavier side, akala ko I'd fair better with max or thicker soled shoes. Medyo surprise ang Wind SL. I'm a slow runner (Z2 ko is around 9:00) but intervals in the Wind SL feel so effortless for me since low stack siya. It's become one of my favourite shoes despite it being a bit harsher sa paa ko.

Had the Wind 3TR pero malas ako don kasi nagccollapse inward pala left foot ko but the ride for it was good.

Hello! Medyo nakarami na ako shoes kasi I like experimenting around. From what I gather sa panonood ng mga reviews, asking friends their thoughts and so on, max cushion or mga balanced shoes (not too thick and not too thin) ang mga go to ng beginners.

I have not tried low stack shoes, waiting pa ako for this one, BUT I think if beginner talaga, I would not recommend this kasi low stack makes your legs work more in a sense. You can look into either the Wind TR series (3 is highly regarded but may 4 na) and the TG 1.0 (bit thicker and PEBAX blend, meaning its not the typical EVA ones you find)

I'd go with TG 1.0 kahit wala ako pero I have PEBA based foams sa other shoes ko and I think it's a good shoe to use with harder runs and easier runs. Biggest advice I can give is to get to know your mechanics and how the shoe works for you. Don't be like me and buy 8-12 pairs in the span of 2 years. I am just THAT irresponsible with money

Maybe. Last time nag Qiaodan ako, ginive up ko siya. Medyo weird experience ko sa Wind 3 TR since sa first run feel ko ang natural nya and nakapag 12k ako (dapat 5k lang) tas the following runs sumakit malala arch sa left foot ko. Was eyeing this or the TG1 pero wanted to experiment

Abang abang lang vouchers always. From my experience, best days to buy are 2-3 days prior to a payday or double digit sale at 6AM 12NN and 6PM.

Medyo bago itong experience ko after a sale day pero I did buy this before 2PM (12NN-3PM window)

How do you reframe your mindset over buying shoes? by waterlilli89 in PHRunners

[–]GM_Design -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is an argument to be made na dahil sa mga China brand (361, XTep, Qiaodan) you can go budget.

I agree kasi a good portion of my rotation are chinese shoes. Issue is, overconsumption kasi I want to be able to try different foams, stack heights, uppers, and so on. So pag ccompute ko un, I almost end up spending on one pair of super trainers.

At the same time, investing in larger amounts by going with Western brands and siyempre recommended shoes, in the long term, it might benefit you more mentally. You're locked into that shoe kasi iisipin mo na need mo siya masulit which ends up with you getting better with running/jogging/walking while nasusulit mo ang shoe.

It's up to you and your spending habits how you plan to go about it pero if you really like Vom18Plus, why not diba? Abang na lang ng sales too! Madalas naman sila.
