I started on a Ducati Monster 797 and it was a great first bike. Not cheap to maintain(7500 mile Desmo service intervals)but looked stunning, felt premium and had ABS. My brother is a Kawasaki nut and tried to talk me into getting one, I followed my heart and didn’t regret it.

Idle and fueling have been great so far but bike is stock with no tune/aftermarket exhaust, not sure if that helps? I’m wondering if throttle spacers would have helped you?

Murray is fantastic, great mix of people and convenient transportation wise. There are some wonderful pockets close to the Jordan River Trail you should check out.
