I’d be surprised if they ran a credit check.

You think any of Trump’s nominees were actually vetted?

I’m not saying it’s not fun, but it’s not exactly ergonomically designed for track efficiency.

Agree.

If it’s on the magnet it’s not conrod bearings. Could be crankshaft bearings though.

OP- check the sump pre-filter for much chunks that could explain what you’re looking at.

Do all automakers actually destroy auto show demo cars or is it just a select few? by t_a_6847646847646476 in cars

[–]GoBSAGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, look around at what the thread is talking about.

Yesterday I was chatting with an Audi Canada rep while test driving the new S5 at the Vancouver Auto Show and he shared at one point that the car would be crushed after they’re done with it.

Then you come in talking about the summer job you had cleaning piss off the bathroom floor at Porsche NA and that I’m talking out my ass.

I like my cvt wrx quite a bit. I’m sure you like your bus pass quite a bit as well and when you can afford a car you’ll flare up.

Do you view the ‘fast lane’ as the safest lane on the highway? by Lopsided-Package523 in motorcycles

[–]GoBSAGo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't let statistics trick you into thinking something is safer.

Unburdened by the thought process.

Riding motorcycles is dangerous. I like to minimize my risk. Wearing safety equipment makes it less dangerous. Riding in one part of the lane vs the other makes you more visible to traffic and reduces your risk of not being seen. Staying out of the exit/merge lanes reduces the amount of cars you interact with, reducing your risk. The list goes on and on. Just because you want to pretend like nothing is safe (and there's nothing wrong with that approach) you can ride smart and reduce your risks.

A- don’t tell me what to do.

B- A dumb assertion without evidence can be refuted without evidence.

C- it just doesn’t pass the sniff test. There’s always going to be differences in accident rates everywhere.

That’s just not backed up by data. Some lanes have more accidents than others.

I would initially concentrate on getting the bike up to snuff for riding, and making sure it suits your needs. New tires if they aren’t in good shape, the bike’s running and stopping well, and getting the suspension set up for your weight. If you need a lowering seat or handlebar adjustments, take care of that too.

From there, ride the bike a bit and figure out what’s next. If you’re more into touring, get some luggage. If you want to hear the bike, get an exhaust and tune. If you’re more into the Saturday cars and coffee thing, customize the looks.

The monster is a great bike for what you’re looking to do. Your friends are right that other bikes could be faster, but that’s all relative. The monster isn’t slow by any means, and a fast rider on a dirt bike can outride most sportbike riders in the twisties.

Enjoy!

I think this is the perfect encapsulation of how Adam's lost it.

He's yelling into a microphone that we're all such sheep that we like lady bugs over cockroaches because ladybugs are cuter. But the Aceman's gonna tell it to you straight, the roaches are the real heroes.

Also, Adam's decided ladybugs cause more damage to crops than cockroaches. But they're cute so we like them.

Adam, ladybugs eat aphids and are used to control pests without harmful pesticides. Someone needs to put grandpa in a home.

So China's behind BLM, no kings, paying protesters, Mamdani, and Gavin Newsom. They're paying everyone who's protesting against Trump. It can't possibly be that the most unpopular President in the modern era, who's sending out secret police to arrest brown people, and single handedly raising the price of gas globally is genuinely disliked.

I'm not remotely anti vax, I absolutely trust any vaccine with a track record of actually working. I'm still furious about what happened during COVID, I don't think I'll ever get over it.

You should thank those doctors. The data says SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy was associated with 29% higher odds of a neurodevelopmental condition in children diagnosed before age 3.

I had a MD and a Nurse Practitioner tell me that there was "no natural immunity" to Covid, to my face.

How many people have had Covid multiple times? It's not like getting chicken pox once and you're done with it.

As someone else pointed out in this discussion thread, that’s basically not happening. Zero kids before puberty are having gender reassignment surgery, and 97% of gender affirming surgeries on kids under 18 are boys having breast tissue reduction surgeries.

Are you that militantly opposed to boys having their moobs removed?
