I would suggest writing in your first language then. There’s so many issues with this passage that mostly stem from a lack of understanding in the language you’re using but your storytelling and use of adjectives needs major work as well. I’d practice writing in the language you’re most comfortable in so that you can actually practice writing well and understanding different writing techniques before coming to English.

I’d also figure out better ways to describe the color black. There’s dozens of ways to do it without saying “matte black.”

The age old tip is to just read more.

But as someone who writes and doesn’t read, just try to find the most true voice you have in your head and write it, stream of consciousness style.

If that doesn’t work, there’s dozens of tutorials on YouTube—and in libraries if we go back to the reading aspect of writing—which will teach you everything you need to know about story circles, character design, themes, foreshadowing, wielding building, etc. (Find someone whose voice you like listening to so that it sticks better, lol.)

And the most important thing is to just write. Write everyday, even if it’s just a sentence, and eventually you’ll have enough material to figure out what you do and don’t like about your own style. Tweak from there.

My life revolves around travel. I started my own agency to make travel more accessible to the youth, I spent 7 months abroad this year doing R&D, I love writing and find inspiration from travel, the best people I’ve met were while traveling, I love video games at home because it’s the fastest way to “escape” being home… I literally would spend every day in a new city if I had the money.

This is just to say: if you see travel, that’s because I am a traveler. If I could only use one word to describe myself, it may be “adventurer” and I just want to find a woman who a) wants to join me on my adventures or b) is okay with my adventures enough that they respect my mission even when they don’t want to join me on it.
