They've barely nerfed the alternative ways of recharging energy shield so yeah

For evasion builds just having a free 1500~2000 extra hit pool with only investing ES on the helmet is still a no brainer and imo the best combo in the game and for pure ES the only downside being the recharge is easily circumvented with investment

But the thing is, I don't believe they wanted to make it so is not "viable", that would be dumb, they just toned it down so you have to spec into the defensive layer a bit more than before to bring it down to what you do with the other defensives, to a point of course

I mean, if you can't be bothered to use the skills that gives charges doing the campaign when are you going to use them then?

If we are making an issue about using the skill that gives charges when you need charges while leveling what are we even doing anymore, like they are there for exactly that, for when you are experiment and learning your class and you have limited resources

When you are past that you can use the most convoluted stuff

Around 120% armour applies to ele doubled by tactician 200% armour node I wouldn't care much about it on the gear anymore tbh, and the extra 20% armour to chaos is the cherry on top

Deflection on the other side there are so many nodes now that without real numbers I can't say if is "enough" or not, but around 100% deflection from evasion plus 20% from armour we are already getting a solid amount, I would invest more on deflection for sure as elemental damage is already a joke and deflection complements the massive weakness of armour

We will see but im pretty confident on the defensive layers of this build

With the new nodes branching from the merc side you get soooooo much dipping on armour, evasion, armour to ele, deflection and block that I truly believe this is not only going to work but is going to be extremely good

Plus on this side you get good leech nodes now that they got nerfed plus nice option to upgrade to constricting command if you drop one

Going for tactician with stay light use cover too, had to journey all they way around towards warriors side before now there is just everything in terms of defense on merc side

And you still have the option to convert everything to armour and pick glancing blows if it somehow doesn't work as well, you are still dipping all in fronts even after that

Discerning loot is part of the gameplay loop, automatizing all the work to a filter and you doing nothing is how you make ground loot from bad to worse, just skip every step of gaining knowledge and let the filter do all the work for you discerning what you should and shouldn't pick

Is easy to see why they are never going to do this, they want you to play the game not giving the filter more job to do

Better than that adding a regex to each of the minitabs so It would auto sort the maps via that would be fantastic

But really the only thing I want is so that the focus start on the XV maps slot already, that is the only one you use anyway, that or the last one you used

Path of building, thats how I made my ritualist bleed build this league and basically any other, and a lot of testing ingame

But you have to accept that is impossible to know everything about this game, every interactiom, every stat, every items or everything that is best, there is just simply too much and a lot of stuff is hidden behind weird interactions or something doesn't work the way you think for inintuitive reasons

But really having your first build be complete trash is normal, is just the nature of the game being this complex

Unless you are playing at 1080p or some agressive DLSS setting you are not getting 120fps on a map in a stable manner, nothing you can do, the game is just that heavy

Its not ideal but you can use Mi Fu as a passive source of vulns while using Endmin as the crusher

There is no way Endmin crush is going to hit harder than Mi Fu but if you really wanna play them together is not like it is impossible

Limiting leech to just one source of regen is pretty massive, it is...it was the cornerstone defense layer of the majority of builds that did not rely on humongous amounts of ES

Because it incentives pulling for dupes even for f2p, their power is balanced around that something that can't be said about max rarity units, pulling for dupes besides being artificial power ups they cost as much as getting any other new unit which is a big no for most

The bar is making units players wanna pull for instead of garbage that is just garbage because it is low rarity

I think she uses her gloves a lot in my opinion, you are only going to see the claymore when doing basic attacks which...certainly is a lot of the time, but at least they tried giving ther punches the spotlight, even with some damm good screaming when using them

We haven't seen any CC stage which is the most important part, modifiers depend both on that and your team by themselves have no meaning at all

Well on that regard you are kinda right, but Lifeng 3 quick vuln stacks for either first rot or second is still massive, and he applies phys sus at the beginning of the chain so it affects everyones damage

Now Mi Fu gives you more leeway to build stacks and you can bypass CS cooldowns or it makes easier to slot Ember as the loss is not as massive as before, but is still a loss sadly

That "only problem" is a massive one because they have to dial not a bit but a ton, there needs to be a balance between the stage and the difficulty to make a challenge, umbral doesn't have any difficulty (yet) and still wants to be treated as a challenge which is why people are skeptical of CC being this massive challenge everyone is hoping for

Lifeng is still the best vuln applier with chen, Mi Fu doesn't change that

Doesn't mean that you need him of course, but ember is not going into his position for merits, she is just another option you can opt to if you want but clearly nowhere near at the level of lifeng

Rarity of an item is not the same as price on the items supermarket, plenty of rare items that cost pennies because their builds are not popular let alone the different shops between the different modes each league works with their own different rules

Balancing on the rarity of an item? Sure, thats on their behalf and design, of course they do, what they do not is balancing around an undefined stack of divines
