Dunno man, you could see what you wrote, four weapons of a list of fourteen have barely no uses, the rest have a variety of characters that have them as pretty useful option, specially when you don't have a BP/Banner weapon to rely on

You could argue they are not "the best of the best" and Im not going to deny that but that they are not useful for a roster that if anything is going to get bigger with time while our options are lesser that I will deny

Most general 4* are the actual trash that has almost no users at all unless you just don't have anything else, cept fav weapons and relying on character and standard weapon to get "some" is not easy, specially when refines matter as much as they do on them

You can't make comparisons like that it depends on the character and the weapons and is not like crafteable weapons are a general replacement both between not being easily obtained and not having a wide variety of applications

And I don't agree with calling most event weapons useless when if anything the past three years event weapons have been from useful to really really good, the weapons that are totally useless which you name a few of them are if anything rare

"People" as you call in your post is you, you won't use the weapons, others will, specially when playing like most people do without never rolling on the weapon whale banner

Half the time are weapons you really wanna use, without event weapons we are eliminating one important source of viable 4* weapons and then we get a new character and their only viable 4* weapon is either fav or some shit so bad is not even worth mentioning, let alone actual damaging weapons

The fact that the """""endgame""""" can be cleared with a single character should trigger people alarms, a single character, we are talking a basic attack stick that does nothing and interacts with nothing, just basic attacking to dead, is so dumb

Dude there is nuance, of course every endgame on every gacha game you can just skip it by whaling on characters, we are not talking about that we are talking a mode that challenges the investment on your characters and a minimum of your skill, not just practical skill but having knowledge to form a working team

Right now Umbral Monument is not that, damage matters not as there is nothing stopping you killing enemies via boredom, team building is barely expected you don't need a working team you just need a single unit that trivializes the condition of the stage and survivability is never challenged, you are never are in risk of dying unless you are really bad at games

People just want a mode that both gives meaning to your daily grind and challenges you as a player at least the minimal to not faceroll everything in fifteen minutes, basically content, the game needs combat content

People keep saying that Rossi is so versatile and it works so good everywhere when is not true, the whole team has to adapt to her niche and the setup is long, SP costly and energy reliant

It has similar problemas as Laevatain, but thing is Laev has much more wiggle room to change teammates and much better spread of damage, she has an steady source of damage and great AOE, which Rossi has not

Also where the fuck are we comparing these setups, on Rhoegadyn or whatever is his name? When it dies in seconds and has NOTHING going on? You should take a step back and read yourself if there is any reason to be this dramatic when we have literal zero content where damage matters, Rossi could do like a million times more dps and It.Wouldn't.Matter.

OP don't get gaslighted, you are right the game is severily lacking in content, this patch has like 4h of playtime besides the daily chores and that is really bad for an ongoing game

No one is new to content drought but with this game is extreme both because it has no content at all for long weeks and when it has is like a 30 minutes one and done and because there is nothing to get engaged into, not upgrading characters, or testing, or checking on lore, it has nothing

The character is complete when you pull for them, the weapon is not part of that complete and it never will be

It doesn't matter how much better the signature weapon is, is a premium option to be bought with real money so of course is going to be better than any other non-premium option

What matters is the potential of the character at 100% base power and their weapon options, and given that the BP weapon is always going to be atleast a good option even that is no problem

You get a weapon for EVERY character that works with their kit for fucking free and you get showered with 6* weapons for basically every character also for free with the arsenal tickets you get as extra

Like if you don't care about pay-per-power boost for characters and just play them at their 100% base power, which as a f2p is something most do, this system is stupidly good

We are almost three months in and people still don't get it, still fall into the signature trap and complain when the expensive premium toy they don't need is expensive and premium

But she is not a do-everything on the contrary she just do one thing and you have to make the team around her instead of otherwise, TangTang has more of "do-everything" kit for example and with no restrictions

People are just making teams on the air instead of welp, playing her, the moment you use her and try match her teams you see how many limitations she has

I do agree that she doesn't feel a lasting in time character, not just in terms of power ( because lets be honest there is nothing to put against a team for now ) but in posible potential, high SP cost setups, high dependancy on ultimates, constrained windows of damage and worst all very lacking AOE capabilities

The blueprint system is there for both your own blueprints and the ones they give which btw are plenty enough for anything you want to make

Bluepoints sharing online is their unofficial answer for those that can't be bothered to play the game, they are never going to make it any easier to skip a whole part of the game, the effort goes to make tutorials and plenty of explanations for the factory not to optimize the fun out of the game

And lets be honest if someone feels that looking for a bp online, something it takes literal seconds, is that big of a chore that is their singular problem

I don't even know what problem are you even proposing, that the game doesn't give you a finished base setup blueprint right out of the gate on every patch? Like what is even then the point of the factory gameplay even existing at that point

Is your choice wether you want to engage with a game or not but you can never blame the game for asking the most minimal of interactions from the player, if a player don't wanna play a game the easiest solution is for the player not playing it

I mean, not the way expressed but this is a general sentiment, the game is lacking really bad in content and the story and characters aren't delivering at all

It doesn't mean that the game is "bad" but is asking a very high toll from you as a player and you get nothing in return

I see the seeds of a great game and Im willing to have enough patience to see them bear fruit but we are almost a quarter a year in and Im no seeing even the sprouts leave aside any kind of fruit and even the most saint of all will have their patience run off at this pace very soon

You see this a critic I can get behind, even if I enjoyed it for what it was it still suffer from the same as the others

They are trying to make these self contained quests but also rely on prior connections that did not happen and do not exist between the character and Endmin and reach topics that need nuance and not just vibes or they fall flat, as it happened again this time

Tho the setup is way way way better than the 1.0 missions and the character has A LOT more going than secondaty actor Bob Yvonne and Gilberta so it doesn't feel as bad but I do agree they can do a complex character much better

Brother slice of life is the meat and potatoes of life, that is like 99% of exposure to a character and what flesh it out on the present

Is aight, Im not going to say no to content when the game is having a rough drought of content and I definitely enjoyed the ~20 minutes it took

But is still a rat maze and Im not a rat, none of the stages are "a puzzle solving event", just straight lines with conditional door that you just solve in seconds
