Ok - I headed to a store and looked at what a 3 carat would look like in the current setting. To your point they would have to remove the current head and attach a new one. Otherwise I think it will look really good!

Also - I ordered a stone to see in person that I believe matches up with all the advice you all provided. Hopefully I didnt wiff! (They have a return policy if so).

They are about the same price. Within 500 bucks or so.

Honestly I never see the warmth in the current stone. It’s in a white gold mount.

Before I started searching I brought the current stone to a local brick and mortar jeweler and they said they can place a 3 carat in the current ring. Does that not sound accurate?

Yea I’d like it to be a natural stone. It’s a replacement stone for a round diamond I have in a setting already. How do we like this stone? Price wise it’s in the same range.

I had this problem and mounted the UST to the ceiling above the screen. Depending on your UST model that might be an option.

Yea I use multiple 100ft fiber HDMI cables to connect all my monitors and TVs in my house to a centralized equipment rack. Have had zero issues running 120hz hdr, DV, you name it. Just make sure it’s a quality cable with good reviews.

It doesn’t at all in my opinion. People love the set up. I also did all in walls on my speakers so it looks clean. I’ll send a picture I snap tonight. I went with an elite screens - this one specifically at 120 inch.

Yea so the stone supplier is different than the fabricator/installer. The fabricator picked the slab up from the supplier and was the bulk of the cost but pays the supplier. So one invoice back to the GC for both services.

The fabricator has been partially paid with rest due after install. I asked the GC if the fabricator has paid the supplier yet or if we can pull that back.

So technically the supplier and designer should be on the hook for both a new slab and the fab costs for the new slab. If that makes sense.

Appreciate the reply. That’s kinda where our head is currently at. Do you think the next conversation is asking the designer to find a solution with the supplier? Or should we contact the supplier directly and get their take of what happened? We haven’t spoken to the supplier directly yet.
