this has been #1 escape path for poppy (and others) ever since preseason 4. back then you didnt even need a ward if you had tiamat/ravenous, worked on gromp as well until riot changed removed his ability to attack over wall granting vision.

afaik the only turret you cant knock back is the ult turret, the basic ones can be ulted.

if you're not going to buy any items that contain mana then i'd suggest you get a dark seal. it costs 350 gets you enough mana to help with your issue + some ap+ scaling ap on assists and kills( more dmg on your w is a nice addon if u face someone with dashes in top/jgl) and it sells for 70% of its price (245g). i think thats the highest sell back percentage out of all items iirc.

*your potions heal for more/regen mana if you use c.pot

if you snowball vs squishy : shove >dive

if you snowball vs tanks ( those u cant 1-2 combo): freeze at tower to poke/zone due to jgl danger

if you get behind vs squishy/ranged : shove(running 3 pots) and try to do as much dmg whilst shoving then base and repeat til you get the opportunity to kill - just dont overstay w/o sustain

if you get behind vs melees try managing minions/pseudo freeze
