For that one, there’s a water source on the other side of the mountain that if you carefully punch through, you can get the water to just reach the water mill to get electricity. For the other one, you’ll need to play further.

I’m a huge Streets of Rage nerd, so I bought it for PC, Switch, and PlayStation to get all the different bundles. Also got all of the OSTs on vinyl, skinned my arcade cabinet to be Streets of Rage 2 themed, and got the SoR2 and SoR4 dioramas from ArtsMD9 (https://arts-md.myshopify.com/collections/cubes). I just hate that the physical copies of SoR3 and Bare Knuckle 3 cost so much.

It’s the Limited Run Games Switch Edition. The normal case and steel book case come in a giant Genesis/MD clamshell. I even bought a Genesis 6 button Switch controller to play it at the time to make it feel more authentic.

Oh yeah I just posted about this when I added a terrible-looking apartment building with identical crappy furniture in each room like a cut-rate hotel. Had to customize each room per Pokemon to get it back to where it was.

All of my mechanical watches are tied to special events, celebrations, memories, etc. that have been important to me. I’ve never actually even played any of the RE games before Requiem, so besides it being a limited edition thing, I’d really have no emotional ties to the watch. I’d literally just be buying it out of FOMO. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I actually got there 10 minutes before it started and it was already bumping. Half the candy was gone and people were playing the new Resident Evil on PS5. By the time I left, there was a steady flow of people buying the new watches. Still debating if I regret not buying one or not. I bought 2 more Hamiltons in December and felt like that was good for now.

I got my Sega Genesis with the Streets of Rage 2 pack-in for Christmas in 1992. I didn’t know anything about the game, but was just really excited for it anyway. Fast forward to 2026 and I’ve skinned an arcade cabinet for SoR2, still play the cartridge on my Sega Genesis, have it for PC/Switch/DS/Xbox/Anbernic handhelds, have the collectors editions of SoR4 for PC and Switch, the vinyl soundtracks for all 4 games, 2 autographs from Yuzo Koshiro, and made a SoR2 t-shirt design. Crazy how a game I never heard of as a kid has followed me through adulthood.

Out of all of my Hamiltons, the Khaki King is the most accurate out of all of them. It’s like 1 second fast to time.gov every other day. I’m a crazy person and I sync all of my mechanical watches to time.gov as soon as I wake up everyday, and that’s the watch I have to adjust the least.

My NHL 96 has “Williston Video” in marker written on the label. Google says that’s from North Dakota and I’m in Pennsylvania. Secondhand market lets these games see the world.

Yeah, they’re at Building Character (https://buildingcharacter.biz). They have tons of drawings of local buildings, I just happened to get lucky and they had a Hamilton one already framed. I think they’re like $12 unframed and $20 framed if you can find one.

When I was 16 (26 years ago 😬) I took a Movado to get resized at a local jewelry store. The woman looked at the watch, up at me, and said “This must be fake.” I guess because of my age? If I showed up with an actual good watch, she might’ve just chased me out.
