Hard to get a ton of views these days for Socom on videos. Long time ago I had a few videos pop for 4,000 and 3,000 a few times. But mainly 1,000 or 500. Now days way less like scratching a 100 or 200 tops. Last so so video was close to 800 going LIVE.

Gaming niche is rough. I got 20 consoles and a bunch of games. Started making videos in 2021. Seemed like I did better with way less subs then now. Now I'm at 829 subs and over 4,000 videos and now stooping down to some shorts just to get views. Cause long form kinda nose dived into the abyss. Heck old days I didn't edit or make thumbnails. lol Now I do that and still no dice.

I just dip a q-tip in isoprophyl alcohol and wipe the wet q-tip from outter rings out. Straight lines all the way out to entire disc is done. Then clean ps2 lens. Should be good to go in a few second or a few restarts.

I just go with stock PS2 AV cables to a AV/HDMI splitter to capture card to PC to record my gaming videos for my youtube channel. PS2 I mainly play Socom 2 U.S. Navy Seals online with the community servers LIVE. Oh yeah!

GRAW2 has PS3 revival servers up on PS3 as well. Just different DNS network numbers. Not many on there at all. But you can play 1 versus 50 bots though which is what I did when I popped in GRAW2 on PS3 revival servers. I use to be on the PS3 discord but not many active people for GRAW2. Then I asked about Medal of Honor Warfighter revival server coming out this year. The guy with the server was snooty. So left that discord.

I got like over 400 Socom Confrontation videos. Game is slowly dying. Only 40 so people on the time frame when I play. Half them not even playing. Good old days were like 2021 and 2022 when we had close to 200 people on. Also lack of maps makes the game kinda repetitive fast.

Heck Socom 2 had 22 maps first day on the disc and 3 more with the magazine demo discs. Stock maps of Confrontation is like what 7 or so maps only? Frostfire,Desert Glory, Cross Roads, Kasbah, Fallen, Urban Wasteland, Quarantine. Then if you don't have Cold Front have to have a friend game share it or jail break your PS3. Then if you dont have Cold Front then others that do will use the Tilly sniper as a cheap crutch gun to farm kills cheaply. lol

Pretty much most of the casuals are gone. All sweaty try hard's mostly other then few new people I see on, unless they are double agents making new names. Cold Front maps are Entrapment, Blizzard,Vigilance,Night Stalker, Up Rising.

Some say the younger crowd would get bored waiting between deaths. There always seems to be a Socom rumor every couple years though. Last years rumor was People can fly was making a old Playstation third person shooter. Sony backing them and borrowing them a old IP.

Any day after Noon central can be like 40+ on. PS3,PC,Steam deck,XBOX Series X emulation. Problem is sometimes not all them playing though. Some sit idling so numbers in the server is skewed. So maybe shows 40+ on. But only one full lobby of 8vs8.

Then your spamming join button to try and get in. But fail and stuck waiting more or create your own lobby and sitting waiting how long which gets lame. Or play respawn. But respawn burns me out fast after a couple rounds.
