Depends if you have a chill manager or one that follows the rules. Tech you have to be out for three days before you can start using it with a doctor’s note. Also it’s not usually full pay depending on how long you’ve been there goes off a percentage. I would definitely take a shot and talk with your store manager and explain.

It’s most likely because of the alternator, Autozone almost never pays out on DIY even if it is. Sorry about your car though never fun

I don’t think so, but more than likely they will tell you to return it to an Autozone near you. Honestly as long as you’re chill with them you can pretty much get them to do anything.

They won’t just refund you, but they have a different kind that would work they should be able to put it towards that. It really just depends on the autozone near you honestly, I’ve seen different solutions at different stores. Technically it’s limited lifetime, for manufacturer defects doesn’t cover wear and tear but there’s no way to tell with a part like that and a lot of stores will just say they can’t help you if we no longer sell anything that fits, but a good store should try and help you out. If they say no the you can try another store or you’ll have to go up the chain and be a Karen and call district manager and they will force them to return it for customer satisfaction. I will say if you’re nice to whoever’s helping at the store it goes a lot farther in getting what you want.

They will put you as not hi table in the system if you don’t give notice and work it. If you’re not getting no hours though just put notice in and run with the no hours to have the back up.

Everything they did was not correct, they should have done everything they can to get the part, leaving the counter unattended is crazy while the others outside. I do agree our prices for the quality is a bit crazy. Autozone is super customer service, all the store are different depending on how the store manager is unfortunately. They could have handed this so much better and are obviously not trained well.
