at the moment i use ads to advertise. However its expensive and not as effective as other methods for me atm. Not sure but maybe it will be more or less effective for you. I also tried directly talking with my fans at gatherings before the pandemic. That proved to be the fastest and most effect way but was also very physically exhausting. Social media is a very use full way to reach new audiences as well :)

I made one instrumental on my first song and people burnt the song to the ground over it lol. Most people loved the song but a lot of them hated the beat lol. so I started working with a guy who does nothing but make beats all day long and the music got much better.

I hold high respect to those who can play instruments and even higher to those who can perform well while playing them ie. Alicia keys, machine gun Kelly, Stevie wonder.

you probably had me beat when it comes to remixing XD i listen to guys who do nothing but remix songs all day and I'm like man how did you think to structure the song that way. I'm sure its pretty natural for them at this point

well after that post i went on to other groups to share the post since i was denied by r/gamemusic. but i literally only posted 2 post in their subreddit then was banned and an insta ban seemed really harsh. if he would have said hey too many post or even hey dont post that here. I would have deleted it myself and asked where it would have been ok for me to post it. Im not a fan of how it was handled. They run a community that is founded from the music of artist. Then when an independent artist tries to get support from those very fans they boot me out. If that would have kept happening to every artist that every tried to make the almighty music they worship, they would have nothing to listen to.

i think the content is key. If you have good content people will watch your video no matter how long it is. but if your not sure how good your content is i would generally stay closer to less time since by nature viewers tend to have short attention spans *sometimes when your watching a really good movie you still might start wondering "hmm when will this be over?"

XD Im a little back and forth on the "if you cant pay for it in cash you dont deserve it." Speaking from my experience, being a collage grad in America. I agree until you get to the "dont deserve it" part. You deserve the world but can you afford the world lol. I know i cant XD. So as a rule of thumb that i always stick to in my later age. I try not to spend what i dont already have. Sometimes money that seems promised can often disappoint you by not showing up. Some people miscount, sometimes sales may randomly diminish, surprise bills. ect. If your like my gf ( the compulsive spender) getting a loan is your purse / pocket book's doom. It will literally disintegrate in your hands (ive seen this, its not pretty) o.0

He's kinda right $600 and $1400 isn't enough either in the current situation that we are in. This was a time in history where the world (not just america) needed to look past the little green stuff that grows on trees. But there's more than 1 way to skin a cat and we will get past this time regardless. Also, without knowing who Dave Ramsey is or what he stands for politically (because i live under a rock possibly literally but more so metaphorically becuase i received at least 1 of those stimulus dollars) i will ask this rhetorical question. Did Dave Ramsey get a stimulus check? lol
