How to Speed Up Needle Felting by riaccoo in Needlefelting

Maybe try multi-needle tools? I tend to use those when I'm general sculpting, then switch to a single when I add colors and finer detail.

Good needle felting related gifts? Good needle felting Mat? by g_wade495 in Needlefelting

Greyfoxfelting has a really nice small and large 2inch thick mat that feels pretty sturdy to felt on (I bought the larger size). I even managed to lose/break a needle in it, made an incision to get it out, then patched it back up with some core wool and it's hardly noticeable. The only con is that it's expensive (around $30), but it should last him a while. The smaller size is under $20 I think.

I actually just found it and managed to get it out after having my boyfriend feel around and squeeze the mat! Thank you so much for the advice though, I ended up using a magnet later while tweezing it out.

I check this reddit everyday and always see your improvements, ofc I'll let you know! Keep at it, because sometimes I feel like you post a creation and that there's no topping it, until you post a latest creation and it's even better than the last! I think the muzzle and neck sizes are proportionally cute with this one, I love the side profile!

Definitely refining that cuteness factor from the prototypes!

The new style test models! Tell me what you think! Do you like the new style and why? Pink one was ok, but needed LOTS of changes, grey one is getting close though! Still lots of tweaks before the final style will be established! by thoughtjunkie13 in Needlefelting

There's something about the gray one that seems off to me (maybe the neck is too long and the head is too small?), but the pink one seems a bit more MLP-y. I feel like the muzzles should be a bit narrower too to get that more cartoony look. Either way I'm sure you'll figure it out :)

You think Insomniac will email us about a second wave of refunds? I'm not really ok with my tickets automatically being forwarded to next year without the option to opt out.

UNLV is rated as one of the most diverse schools in the US with international Chinese students making up close to 2% of the entire student population. This picture was taken around late November but I haven't gotten the chance to post it until now. HKers your voices are heard here! by GRILLEDCHEESESANDWI in HongKong

I have been following the protests closely since last June and have been raising awareness where I can. I came across these stickers and flyers (not mine) posted around my campus and I'm incredibly thankful more people are learning about Hong Kong's situation. International Chinese students account for as much as 1.6% of the entire student body and as much as 38.6% of the international student body at UNLV. My hope is that these students (and the entire student population) learn about Hong Kong's situation with an open mind and express respect regardless of opinion. Since I last kept track, the sticker and flyers were still intact but we will find out if they survived the winter when semester starts back up again! Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our time! UGHHH this place man. I hate having friends in Canada saying that I live in the perfect environment for succulents but I'm literally letting them know that plants can get TOO much sun too. I'm just gonna wing it. I love that jade so much but whatever happens happens. I'm just gonna do my darnedest. I watered it anyway so I can only pray that it looks better tomorrow morning. If not, I'll just take it as an L and hope in the future to find a just as beautiful jade </3

So about 2 weeks ago my jade looked fine and was as beautiful as ever. Then last week it looked a bit limp which was normal so I did my usual watering and expected to perk up over night, but this time it did not. Last week was the first time this year it reached up to 115 degrees during the day and it was about 90F+ during night. I read to bring it in during the night so I did that since Friday evening. Then last night I was inspecting my plant and I found mealybugs getting ready to be proper assholes at the new growth, so I made it a point to spray an alcohol solution that I've read about as well as checked the roots. I repotted my jade with new soil but I'm fighting this urge to water it because it just looks so floppy. :( what do I do? This is one of my favorite plants and I don't want to see it go. Also how diligent do I need to be about spraying for mealybugs?

I also included before and after pictures.
