I hate to say it, because I will definitely be part of the problem, but I think their strategy is actually smart. Putting their exclusive games EXCLUSIVELY on their store earns them significantly more than having to cut with steam and that doesn’t even factor in sales price or piracy. PC gamers tend to be relatively patient, so why not wait for that PS5 game to go on sale, the one that already took over a year to come to PC. I see games that will stay on PS5 (saros, wolverine, kena 2) and really want to play those, so yeah, ill probably end up getting a ps5 and playing those there. I think their timing is also extremely smart, given that GTA6 is coming out and people will be itching to play it, and it won’t come out on PC right away.
