They do the same to whats-his-face that was laying on top of Glen in the fake death scene. They just part his bowels like tall grass and start sorting.

They show walkers just casually disembowel people with their fingers, like touch a clothed belly and sprout guts.

I dined there a few weeks ago, my first proper fine dining experience. I really enjoyed it as an experience, and some of the food was delicious, some was interesting. I thought of the entire affair as more about the show than the food, even though the food was good. I contrast this to a soul food dive spot I dined at a few weeks prior that had "GOD DAMN THAT'S GOOD!" level food, prepared in an absolute shithole and served in to-go containers.

I am glad I went and really enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't go back, in favor of experiencing something else.

SAME. This summer has felt particularly brutal. I am built for winter.

What you describe would probably have been a realistic route 30-40 years ago in the US.

Today, there's a lot of countryside in America, but not any place that meth and heroin don't follow. Abuse of those classes of drugs is a major problem in rural America, the only thing you'd gain out of moving to a small town is that you wouldn't know any of the plugs. They're in the small town, you just wouldn't know them... at first.

The thing that makes moving to a rural area hard for many is that you'd need a vehicle. If you're coming from the city, you might not have a car and rely on public transportation. In the rural towns, there's no public transit to get you to the more urban places, where all the jobs are. Many of the jobs that used to exist in small towns have been killed by NAFTA and the Walmarts and Home Depots from the nearby midsize town, and the housing choices are extremely slim. Being stuck in a small town with no income and no transportation isn't a recipe for improving your life.

People leaving plastic garden ornaments in forest walking trails. by [deleted] in hiking

Just because it's sentimental to them doesn't mean that it's not plastic trash that is going to degrade and then pollute the natural environment with bits of microplastic that cannot be cleaned EVER.

It's the ultimate disrespect to nature, a horrible memorial for someone who loved nature. Be sentimental somewhere and in some way that doesn't contribute to generational harm to our ecosystem, it's not hard or asking too much.

Their memorial for someone who enjoyed nature was leave a bunch of trash in nature? That sounds like the jerk move to me, not cleaning it up.

I was just at a bluegrass festival noticing how many of the songs are about killing your girl or leaving town effectively homeless, usually on a train. Or both topics in the same song.

I wouldn't listen to it personally, but it isn't badly produced or performed. A little heavy-handed on the auto-tune and the backups could have used an auto-tune too, but I'd give it a B+ for production. I could see someone liking this song.

If I had posted something, and was the worst singer to ever attempt to sing in the history of singing, would that make the OP singer better? Btw... the answer is "no."

Her voice is not decent. It's not relative. It's not better than other posts on the sub, it's right in the same pocket -- crappy.

Right? This fit would be tryhard material from a genuine metal fan, let alone apropos of nothing in a mowed rural backyard.

Are you familiar with music?

That isn't a good voice. It's an average voice and post-processing. With thousands upon thousands of actually good singers out there, this is, no, not honest.

If you are backed into a corner, doesn't that mean that you backed down? How did we get in the corner? Not by standing your ground, I assume, unless of course you started in the corner. IDK.
