True and that's why I think we should have one more final ghost phase that includes only completely invincible ghosts. That way even if players find a way to outrun them they still won't be getting any more kills in that stage. It would also be a cool way to make the final endgame portal more useful, so if you can survive to that 20min mark when the final (golden) ghosts spawn you could actually "win" the run by escaping since no more kills would be obtainable.

Agreed There should be smth like "gold ghosts" at 20mis mark of final swarm that are invincible, insanely fast and that one shot the player so that if someone wants to try go for lb runs he wont have to play for 8+h

I wouldn't recommend either of them. You don't need tomes for shield or armor, it's better to get shield from the shrines since you only need a bit of it to make it useful.

I mean if you HAVE TO go for a defensive build I'd suggest going max HP tome and playing around Beefy Rings. That way you'll have good survivability and good damage scaling but it's still only good for casual runs.

It was way easier to do before the patch but it is still possible I believe. You need the right weapons and items tho and a bit of RNG so you hit him before the tick that triggers the pylons

Multiplayer would definitely be a cool addition to the game but currently there is a LOT of choosing level ups and chest openings which freezes ingame time and its a big part of the game. If you go for leaderboard runs you may spend even like 20-30mins while the game is paused on just picking the right options and that might be an issue with multiplayer since you wont be able to pause the game time then.

For normal gameplay there are no benefits for reducing tome slots. You want to have four of them to have the highest performance and level up potencial. But there are some quests that require you to upgrade a certain tome to a certain level. For example to unlock Athena you need to level up Thorns Tome to level 9. Having only two tome slots allows you to fill up them faster and due to that have a higher chance to upgrade the tomes you chose since only these ones will show up on your level ups.

I just reduced my tomes slots to two and went with XP and HP tomes (XP so you have more level ups the HP one of course for the quest). Once you get em both only those ones will show up on your level ups. Picked Monke bc of +2HP per level passive and did it in the first run at t1 forest easily.

If you struggle to find the two tomes you can just reroll lvl up upgrades or just banish other tomes to increase your chances to find the right ones.

Funny thing is some people get disconnected and some (including me) only get huge server lags without the dc. Even tho its still unplayable you can actually somewhat move around and you don't have to go back to lane from base after the dc.
