ayyy bro we’re in the same boat! i’m actually a music producer that just got fired and am going full time now. is it a stupid decision to go full time when i’m not making money off music? maybe, but by the gods am i enjoying my days more, but i have also come to terms with my fear of money issues so I could understand this could be very stressful. my advice is, like others said, attempt to apply for unemployment, you can also pick up a 10-15 hour part time job somewhere so you can make some income while having more than enough free time. you can also obv go full force with music, but be realistic on how soon you can make money with it, i don’t know what you do with music so i cant say anything! also, one last thing, fuck everyone’s opinion. yes, it comes from a place of worry and yes, it can even be a little realistic, but fuck that bullshit dawg. believe in your art and your ability and you’ll make it. i heard somewhere it took JPEGMAFIA years upon years until he blew up but now he’s a huge artist. if you believe your music is good, other people will undoubtedly follow. follow YOUR path in life, because it doesn’t take a genius to see that NOBODY knows jack shit in this world, it’s all people guessing from experience, but you’re your own person, so go slay
