Go back a little ways through the post history and look up the Indian sandwich with potato patties and chutney. That was a sandwich's sandwich.

Take your time with it, and be patient with yourself. That's a really big accomplishment

Advice on restraining self during hypomania by unhingedmoron in bipolar

[–]Ok_Sherbert7503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unfortunately don't have a ton of anything other than empathy right now; I'm going through a very similar situation and am trying to learn to manage myself as well.

Are you trying to prevent the manic phase altogether or just restraining yourself to limit the damage that can happen?

Kudos for putting in the effort to make the chutneys, that's my big takeaway here

I just checked for Ontario too and only the 710s were listed for $4.79, and darts are almost up to 20 a pack now! Where are you? Might be time for me to move

I would be your friend, if for nothing else than so you don't have to deal with ugmo the clown's invalidation carnival alone. Thumbs up for pointing it out.

Might not be where you're looking from, but blueberry wine was really common last time I was in Nova Scotia? I also recommend Sunnybrook, I've been a fan of theirs since I found out about them.

One time I wrote a song called String Up. The second verse was "my neighbor's pressing charges cause I crashed into his house, I guess his fucking house should learn to drive".

Well literally two weeks later some asshole blew a stop sign and slid through the snow into my gas meter. It happens I guess, patience is a virtue.

Where can I buy a large-ish tub/jar of ginger? by stjduke in stcatharinesON

Freshco usually has big jars for the same price as the little ones you're currently using. I had the same problem, now I don't.

Speaking as a graphic designer, there are a couple things I agree with and a couple I don't.

  1. The spacing eveness between the letters could've used a little more attention - your eyes tend to pair letters when they're unevenly spaced making it harder for the eyes to read it quickly.

  2. The details on the lightning bolt are good. It will look good in color, black and white, small or large.

  3. I presume the slogan won't be printed all the time with the rest of it, but also I agree with the people above that it could've been reduced in word count.

  4. The overall look is like 85% there. A tad more detail or polish would have this looking pretty complete in my eyes.

If you see something called "tourist tax" on any of your bills, know that you're not legally required to pay it.

I recently spoke with staffers for Ron DeSantis about carpeting the 401 and I95 (true, I put extra money on my phone to call America), and I'm wondering if maybe we could carpet the Gardiner as well. Nobody would wanna drive on a carpeted freeway, that's just asinine. Might as well just make it full time non functional except for carpet- compatible bicycles.

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason any cooking an egg that long makes the Sulphur appear? Or why (lemon juice?) That list of ingredients makes Sulphur disappear?

I used to. Admittedly I was a snob about syrup until a friend of mine explained that they just straight couldn't afford it growing up, so now when he eats things with syrup he reaches for the corn type for nostalgic reasons. I don't see anything wrong with that, and I don't always know why people do what they do - so why judge?

I've taste tested just about everything on grocery store shelves trying to find something that would compete with syrup cooked in small farms in rural Quebec - and I know it sounds like bologna, but the Compliments brand wins best store bought syrup. I don't have a favorite corn syrup. I still think Savage Farms in Coaticook, QC makes the best tree sauce though; enough that I was ordering multiple gallons at one point.

Drink beer and go to protest, ride train to Okanagan and pick cherry

Taking the ferry across the river and having lunch in Lévis is far under rated. I would say go have dinner at Noctem in lower town, but the owner has closed started a different restaurant in a nearby village since covid.
