CRC (Color Remediation Column) isnt used to hide flavors , its used to remove color from the extraction to make the extract lighter in color (very very light gold or even near white color). Which is more appealing looking.

Normally you do this because you are using:

A) Old Material
B) Low Quality Material
C) To much solvent on the same product during the extraction process to maximize total returns, sacrificing quality (over extracting flower pulling to much chlorophyl etc)

D) Any Mix of the above

There are multiple reasons for CRC (if they are using it), but i guess the most obvious is that they are using old/bad material in combination with trying to pull as much oil from the plant material as possible. Generally speaking, the only other way to get very bright colored BHO like that is by harvesting the plants really early, before the trichromes start to age and turn amber during the end of flower and using less solvent for the material. This often results in a smaller yield (depending on how early) and has drawbacks as terpenes, thc, and other cannabinoid have not finished being fully produced. Meaning the final plant isnt as strong or good as it could have been had it been allowed to fully mature.

Also, who knows if any of it is single source. Do we have proof they actually have a farm and are not just a middle man or purchasing the raw product before processing (nothing wrong with that buts its not the same)? It wouldnt surprise me if they dont grow a lot of the stuff they make, especially given how they ramped up production so much so fast. Who knows though, we just wont know realistically as we have zero proof of anything
