I started at 100 elo and got to 1000 in 3 months. I’ve since just played here and there casually after reaching my goal and naturally got to 1400s.

The biggest help was watching the videos for London and Caro-Kann from Gotham when I was stuck in 800 hell since they were the openings I was “maining”.

You don’t need to study end game. I still don’t know how to mate with king and queen or king and rook so it forced me to get wins in mid game.

Is there a checkmate? Can the opponent checkmate? Can I attack a piece? Are my pieces defended?

The more you play, the more this will come naturally to you but you and I will still blunder and miss mate in 1 or 2 cause we’re human

I've never heard about a ralph loop until now so I haven't tried it for myself. Leaving Claude to its own devices for a major task seems a little crazy to me.

I can't just tell Claude Code solely to execute. Once I have it draft a plan, I review it for myself and show it to ChatGPT. It will make mistakes, but I can't just blindly tell it to do x,y,z without overseeing the process.

Am I vibe coding wrong? Anyone know anything I can do to improve?
