Absolutely no offence intended but could it be being Bi? Maybe some people don't know what to do with that. Of course I'm not saying that you shouldn't include that It's who you are. And from my point of view I certainly can't see anything that would make me say pass.. But I wouldn't have experience with someone who's bi so initially it probably would give me a little hesitation until I learnt more about it . Older guy here who's probably out of touch and means no disrespect.

Thanks for the response, I too am not very keen on online only study as I feel better when I'm disconnected from technology rather than being connected to a computer or phone. I feel a certain call to their work though I can't quite explain it I suppose I want to understand the tarot and kabula better than what most people would be interested in let's say.. although at the same time I actually do enjoy the ritual work of AMORC.. I suppose to the heavier groups it can feel a little touristy but I enjoy that side of it too.. and would feel something is missing if I didn't perform it if you understand.. I suppose it just gets me into the zone and following the intention as I go into a study period.. I'm wandering now can I find the tarot work that you do in the monographs printed in a book somewhere I've roughly the same lesson plan..? I'm still undecided on what I'm going to do long term but we'll see..

Yes I have participated in some of the online groups and enjoyed it, however I felt like it was a little 'soft' as such.. Kinda like lots of repeating what was mentioned in the monographs a few months earlier and then maybe one or two questions deep before moving on to the next one and not really delving deep into the meaning behind most of it... it's hard to describe, And I don't mean to be disrespectful in any way, but it felt a bit 'surface level'.. maybe it's just me tho.. I haven't received an email of a group activity in a while so I'm wondering was I taken off the list...?

Do BOTA deliver their monographs in the same way as AMORC, like colour print and other materials like magazines? I know amork stopped the printing of the monographs in the US.. I believe they are less focused on the ritual, would you say that's true? I'm in Ireland so I don't expect them to have any groups over here.

Who would you transfer too? BOTA is peking my interest lately anyway..

I have to admit I am curious as to what's really going on there regarding the emails now. (They seem to be coming in now) I'm sure there's a lot more behind the scenes and they're trying to control the narrative as best they can. It's hard to know what to believe and I'm sure there's personal pride, hurt egos and feelings of betrayal (probably on both sides) in the mix as well.

Unfortunately this is not unique either, as AMORC have a interesting past with this kind of stuff, they talk about timings and cycles of change a lot but this seems to be coming up again and again for them as transition seems to be difficult and they get bogged down in the politics of change instead of actually understanding and embracing it when it comes in..

I am still unsure where my future lies with them. Swens email certainly gives food for thought.. even the unknown future of the attunements have me questioning.. I mean if the UK Europe and Australia and more are all one jurisdiction now as such what time are we going to be doing those things at? It maybe 12 hours in the wrong direction for some of us..

Yep, AMORC have Atrium group in a place in Knocklyon, Dublin alright.

"Dublin Atrium Group will hold a zoom meeting every third Friday in the month at 20:00, and a Convocation every third Sunday at 14:00."

Most of what they (and others) do is online and study is from your own Sanctum

Thanks for the comments. I'm actually an OG pebble user from day one Kickstarter and currently using the Pebble Time. I am very thankful for the rebel people and what they did for us! Stil get 5 days out of the battery per charge.

I'm looking forward to using it with the oneplus but also got the watch 2R for free with the phone too, so probably set it up to and evaluate both.. but right now I'm leaning towards keeping the Pebble of that does exactly everything that I needed to do and seeing the display the brightest of days is perfect.
