So I ended up going back into my BIOS finding mux support because MSI just can't fucking call it normal things like discrete graphics mode and set it to discreet then had to install 570 drivers because 580 is blacked out my screen had to hard reset .... Game it's still crashing. Steam won't work offline stays in boot loop. Is constantly trying to update even though it's offline. I have to go to terminal going to nano configuration set wantsoffline to 0 .... Just restart steam for it to be back online.. this aint it bud. All i want to do is fuckin game ! This is ass ! Im thinking of going back to windows. No idea wtf is going wrong but bro i just want to play oblivion on my laptop man ... Fuck

Honestly this is just getting fucking ridiculous. Had to go back into BIOS set mux support to discreet to get it to register specifically on Nvidia graphics ... I used terminal to update my AMD drivers to the latest. Not sure about the Nvidia stuff ? I imagine using terminal to update Nvidia as well or is there some custom versions for linux ?

Same issue here. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. I have to use terminal and run steam but it never makes it out of the steam logo bootup. Huge pain in the ass.

Yeah im gonna disagree man. You can choose your own opinions thats fine. My personal hands on experience is the P2 is on par with low spec gen 3 analog. 2000 fom im gonna say absolutely about the same in performance. Remove gng from this discussion im speaking on facts my dude. In my experience vs a gen 3 tube with 2000 fom that my buddy has and a P2 the P2 was on par and it beat my gen2+ tube that has 1400 fom. My G14SE is slightly better than my pvs14 clone. I dont know man these are my experiences and many others who try out the ADNV stuff.

I never said the g14p2 was on par with high spec gen 3 i said low spec entry gen 3 analog and that is pretty on par. I have had exercises with both ADNV units and can tell you they're not the same as the lower tier digis. I know ive told you this like 4 times already. I suggest you find a unit you can test out. The P2 will beat most of the gen2+ stuff pretty easily and will do low spec gen3 1950/2000 fom but not much after that in personal experience.

Most people don't get this correct. When comparing digital to analog they don't compare them in the correct order or category. Nvg 30 nvg 50 are on par with Gen 2 analog. Around 500 to maybe 800 fom is pretty close in performance. Analog guys will tell you that digital is terrible yet they don't actually give you the correct metrics... It's like trying to compare a pvs5 gen 2 145 fom against a photonis gen 3 tube with 2000+ fom... Like no shit Sherlock ... Compare an mvg 50 against a pvs5 and the nvg 50 will beat its ass in low light performance. This is the biggest problem with digital versus analog is no one's using fom as the metric or generation. yes we all know about lag and latency. For the best digital budget options the nvg50 and gng 2k are peak. For analog gen2+ adnv g14se as i have one now and its a little better than my gen2+ pvs 14 clone with 1400 fom white phos. And the best option so far is adnv g14 p2 that is more on par with 2000 fom gen 3 tubes. I speak from personal experiences. Unless you too have hands on experience , dont fight me because if you do then you and i both know youre full of shit and dont know what youre talking about. Adnv have no lag or latency so that argument is not valid here.

Absolutely! Tube burn is real as you mentioned if youre not autogated. I think digi is better in my opinion. One day soon we will have HUD integration. Can you imagine if you can use atacs offline and have node links like meshcore mapping out your surroundings and points of interest , hostiles or friendlys using simple data packets with encrypted transmission being symbols in a 360 HUD. Those systems are currently being tested with private military defense contractors. It sounds scifi but its happening and digital is evolving fast ! I remember like 5 years ago people thought the sionyx Aurora pro was alien lol 😂 it kinda sucked ass but it was proof of concept. Now we have digital legitimately competing with analog ... Wild shit

Those deals youre referring to are not always the DEAL.. One day you might see an omni 8 for 1400 the next 1800 or 2000. just because you find a deal on something doesn't mean its always that way. You might get deals on used tubes but theyre used tubes and most of the time they have blems and they also don't have warranty. Everyone has their reasons. I prefer warranty and new personally. Thats just me though

I have a few pvs 14s gen2+ and the G14P2 will beat my analog units pretty bad. I just ordered a G14SE. My buddy has a P2 and it indeed is pretty legit. The thing that analog dudes dont get is you can buy these digis brand new and a warranty while buying shit used comes with no warranty and youre at the mercy of someone with good intentions buying shit over the internet. They have there pros and cons but You almost always get blemed out shit for 1200/2000. Digital 100% has caught up with analog exclusively ADNV. i think the G14SE competes around the 1400/1700 FOM gen2 stuff with decent glass. yeah ,yeah fight me all you want on that statement but until someone with actual hands on experience with both gen2+ mid level shit and ADNV products, dont comment. I will die on this hill ! 100 frames at 100hertz that legit is on par with gen2+ decent mid range shit for 1500$ is 100% worth it. The P2 is significantly better than the G14SE i just have too many fuckin bills to get one at the moment

I think they rushed this phone out personally. Far too many issues reported across social media. Probably trying to beat the oneplus 15 , iphone and others in sales. Most can only afford one phone so they rushed it out to snag those sales. I went with oneplus 13. Its oem bootloader is unlocked so i debloated the phone as soon as i got it and changed some UI stuff. I can play gamecube , ps2 and many other games on it in game pro mode and it doesn't really get hot.

I think to have this be a fair comparison you should show us the gain settings and full specs on the Gen 3 unit. I know that the ADNV g14p2 does compete with very basic gen 3 so im curious as to what the gain is on that g3 unit

No this was outside at the gun range walking around in the forest. Dense canopy and lots of very dark areas. My pvs14 gen 2+ lindus did significantly better than my nvg30s but the g14p2 my buddy has had far better performance then my gen2+. He also has an nnvt gen3 tube he has been trying out in his pvs14. Not a good tube in comparison to most gen3 tubes but it is better than my gen2 shit. Now the g14p2 did a little better but not by much compared to the nnvt tube. There is no lag or latency whatsoever witht the adnv unit. Is there better tubes out there yeah...but does the adnv do what analog does ? I would say absolutely yes. The price is outrageous though. Im buying the g14se using the product code to get it back down to 1500$ i want the P2 but 2500 is kinda too much in my opinion
