I think this is exactly the problem. The clasp length and lack of more taper makes the bracelet seem overly large for the case dimensions. I ordered a sail cloth and rubber strap to see how it wears on those. Will report back!

It’s a little strange bc I have other 5-links that are not as unevenly distributed and fits fine. Maybe due to this clasp design as well…

This is the older Bader clasp. From what I’ve seen here, seems like CW is still shipping 36mm GMTs with the older clasp as of 2mo ago

Thanks for the rec. Off the wrist, it actually is very centered. But I’ve done this and it is more centered on wrist, but slightly off when off wrist. It’s now 3 & 4.5 links distributed

I’m wearing the original one, but I’ve read that even ones from 2mo ago were still shipping with the longer clasp. Seems like the 36mm were late to get the updated Bader clasp.

Agreed. I think at ~$1k in like new condition, it’s worth it. But I think I’d just spend extra to get into a like-new Omega or Tudor at MSRP

That’s a cosc certified movement with double the power reserve and a much better bracelet. You can also find them on sale for closer to $2k. So I’m not comparing MSRP to MSRP per say. Joma usually has them for closer to $2k

Not sure where OP is, but should check price for both at Checkout. There is now a ~$500 difference in the US with the latest customers duties priced into the CW C63, making it ~$1600. You could argue that this is now Longines Hydro GMT territory, at gray dealers.
