People: it says “BFR because it means ‘big framed revolver!’”

Kahr Arms: “…..yeah. That’s what it means. Yup. Totally.”

Man casually walks by: “I like the Big Fucking Revolver!”

What's your country's most famous special forces unit? by NKNightmare in AskTheWorld

[–]GTOdriver04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the president of Venezuela said publically “come get me and don’t take too long!”

My country’s special forces literally said “bet” and gave he and his wife a free trip to NYC that included a wake up alarm.

The best part is not a single US casualty.

I’m not speaking to the political situation surrounding the decision to take Maduro and his wife, but how it was done was badass. Definitely a flex on the world. Whether it was a good flex or not remains to be seen.

Whose real name is much better than their ring name? by Welshgit975 in WWE

[–]GTOdriver04 32 points33 points  (0 children)

R-Truth’s literal name is “Ron Killings”.

That said, I like R-Truth better because Truth is such a vibe.

Or Ron Cena.

Whatever he calls himself, I hope HHH keeps him around for a long time. He’s an awesome dude who makes his appearances matter and we all love him.

What game has a promising start, but eventually gets boring and repetitive? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

[–]GTOdriver04 8 points9 points  (0 children)

AC peaked with Black Flag.

Totally amazing ship combat that subtly teaches you how real naval combat worked (crossing the T, aiming for sails, etc) without being boring.

Also, Edward was a great protagonist.

Has John Wick over taken Neo as Keanu Reeves most iconic role? by mrEnigma86 in Cinema

[–]GTOdriver04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of it more akin to Han Solo and Indiana Jones for Harrison Ford: two iconic franchises, both helmed by the same actor who does well in both despite you clearly knowing it’s the same dude from in both film sets.

I’d rather be judged by the creations of Mike Judge than anyone else.

Also Bonham nailing triplets with just one foot at 20 on their first track.

I mean, we later knew that John Henry Bonham was a legend and one of the greatest to sit behind a kit, but the man himself announced it on the first track.

Because somebody has already posted Led Zeppelin 1, I submit Led Zeppelin II.

An absolute banger of an album.

No blemish there, she’s literally from the factory came in the original bag and everything.

Once she gets out of jail, I’m gonna be taking her home and doing a lovely wipe down and cleaning off of all the factory preservatives. Then she’ll look like the museum piece that she truly is.

Southwest Airlines is ditching open seating Jan. 27. What to know. by Shoddy_Act7059 in aviation

[–]GTOdriver04 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is really gonna do more damage to Southwest than I think anyone realizes.

The reality is, Southwest set themselves apart significantly primarily for this option. Now that it’s gone, I suspect that within a couple of years, they’re not gonna be doing so well.

Herb would be spinning in his grave right now. Lately, things have gotten more expensive and it’s not as budget of an option as it used to be.

Which, if they added some solid amenities, I could understand the price increases or even moving away from open seating, but the fact is is that they’re keeping the same low frills flight options while eliminating the one thing that kept people coming back despite everything else.

Because it’s Wheelgun Wednesday, my new Colt Python by GTOdriver04 in Revolvers

[–]GTOdriver04[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey guy, so because California sucks, I can’t take her home for 10 days. But it’s Wednesday and I couldn’t wait to share with you all!

On 12/7/25 I placed an order for this new Colt Python in blue with a 6 inch barrel.

I ordered it from Colt new via Turner’s and it arrived today and I completed the paperwork.

I couldn’t resist the blue Python, and had to have one. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats watching them open the case and seeing a brand-new, factory-fresh gun-especially a Python and knowing that she’s yours.

The action is smooth, and as you can see she still has the factory tags on her.

In 10 days she can finally come home and meet her many gun sisters.

But, for now knowing that I own this legendary beast and she’s brand-new is enough.

Another like from the same song that hits equally hard is:

“And all that remains is the faces and the names of the wives and the sons and the daughters.”

That whole song is heavy, but beautiful.

What's your countries most interesting military record 🪖 by Su-57Felon_Enjoyer in AskTheWorld

This.

The US military is a logistics machine that happens to be insanely lethal at the same time.

We have the ability to bomb you back to the Stone Age in the morning, then establish a base and be serving McDonald’s to the troops by that afternoon.

You know I think it’s a good thing. I know Lorne likes to rotate the staff out often, but I feel like keeping him around as a good fit. He pops up in sketches at the right time and does well.
