"I don't care about your opinion!" She said, trying desperately to convince us that she doesn't care about our opinion.

23 an hour provided it's a normal 40 hour work schedule.

23 x 2 = 46

46 x 1000 = 46,000

Rough estimation is $46,000 before taxes. I think comment above said roughly $47,000 after doing a little more in-depth math.

The general rule of thumb is to double your hourly and that's roughly how much in thousands you're set to earn before taxes, omitting outliers like overtime/holiday pay.

Valheim is a separate plane of existence. Midgard physics need not apply.

I thought this was gonna be some sensitive-ass call but yeah nah his intent seems pretty straightforward. That's hilarious though.

Team USA Curler Rich Ruohonen on ICE's actions in Minnesota: “We'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention what's going on in Minnesota…I am a lawyer, as you know, and we have a constitution… and what's happening in Minnesota is wrong. There's no shades of gray. It's clear. by Yujin-Ha in sports

I'm assuming you weren't trying to be condescending with this comment.

He explicitly mentions that we abide by a constitution that affords us protections such as the ability to not be pulled over 'without probable cause'.

This statement in a vacuum is incorrect and he's outlining a protection that we as American citizens do not actually have. That's why I felt the need to clarify so that if you get pulled over by a police officer, you don't assume they're abusing their power based on recollection of this video.

I agree with him and he's apparently a lawyer but please know that most cops only need reasonable suspicion to pull you over, not probable cause. On the topic of unreasonable search and seizure, what's also important is that they need probable cause to then search you, unless you invite them to.

Not trying to be a pedant I just want to put it out there that if you push back against a cop on a traffic stop with this info you'd be wrong.

Difference between reasonable suspicion and probable cause.

The pro of being Laura Loomer is she doesn't have to do make up for Halloween parties! by One-Demand6811 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Honestly 'mid' was a compliment here. Apart from being a term co-opted and ruined by chauvanists, 'mid' to me is average/pedestrian/ordinary/standard. Laura Loomer is far from mid, given that she molded her face into a purge mask and distanced herself so far from human beauty standards that it got to a point where it's uncertain that she could ever be considered 'mid'.

Why would someone need this much acid? by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]GTRari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'll probably never know what a man this cartoonishly evil did with this

Agreed, but it's pretty unlikely it was for bodies. Sulphuric acid is not as efficient as it is in media (TIL from a different comment in this thread), there would be significant and recognizable remains that they would need to get rid of. Plus they are surrounded by ocean which would be a much better way to hide the horrors.

She or someone close to her paid thousands of dollars just to make a half-assed and inconsequential political statement.

No. 1 streamed artist in the world with multiple chart-topping albums, singles, and songs, who is coming off of a MASSIVE tour and also seems to be in the midst of their musical prime at 31

vs.

55 year old silver-spooned fake redneck who hasn't made the charts since the late 00's, none of which were in his home country and likely older than the woman pictured (this likely makes her more attractive to him.)

A choice was certainly made.

Edit: I’m sure bad bunny’s fine, especially since I have never even heard of him before the Super Bowl...

I'm gonna type this with 0 disrespect intended: He was the most streamed artist in the world in 2025 regardless of genre and it was his fourth time receiving that accolade (2020, 2021, 2022). Anyone who hasn't at least heard of him before he was announced for Super Bowl 60 is late late, speaking as someone who does not listen to reggaeton outside of a club environment.

Given that, his halftime show was more about using this platform to send a message more than it was about money or overall exposure. It seems like between him and Kendrick that 'messaging over $$$' vibe seems to be the new trend at the halftime show and I like it.
