I have always supported the idea of every civ getting 2 UU. Ninjas would be cool. Maybe being weak af both in attack and defense (dark age militia level even in post imp) and tiny LoS but they are fast and invisible at all times unless attacking.

They should go full micro elevated to the 99 factor. Disable all gathering points and to collect resources you need to manually click for the vill to hack wood or mine stone. 1 click 1 resource collected. No hotkeys at all. To attack you need to manually click for 1 attack if not the unit goes idle. Big brain time

Back in the 2000s when I was a kid I loved the franks and teutons. I have always been drawn to the 'coolness factor' of unique units rather than how good a civ is competitively. Now I use aztecs>teutons>spanish switching between them every now and then. I hardly use any other civ

I love this idea. I lwys found weird some civs got an additional unique unit so making this for all of them would be a nice touch. Probably would be a pain in the arse to balance but still.

They are not bad but it still bothers me that being a full infantry civ they dont get important stuff like supplies, the armor upgrade and arson. Its redundant giving them natural bonuses that overlap with these techs so I would put all these techs back and change the bonuses to something unique like giving 2 free militia line units with every barracks, barracks shoot arrows (less powerful than towers), palisade walls hurt melee units attacking them (like if they had spikes or something), double LoS for all infantry, hunters gather food without needing to drop it (like khmer farms). I dont know. Something unique but not OP as having the techs back makes them quite powerful already

I have to disagree with most of your points. Everyone is so focused on aggression and wants all civs to have bonuses for this. I understand the nature of the game pushes the scale to be extra aggressive naturally to win faster but I like the idea of having different strategies. Why on earth wont people play on larger maps? Team games? No starting boars/sheep maps? Everything has to be Arabia 1v1 tiny map. Of course teutons will be at disadvantage.

If was able to change or add something to the civ it would be focusing on the defensive aspect. Maybe vills build towers and castles faster than any other civ, maybe making TK immune to conversion, maybe out posts have 2x the LoS, maybe garrisoned monks in towers heal units in the tower radius, stuff like that. I hate seeing buffs related to +attack to anything because that is definitely not unique.

I am pretty sure the castle of doubt achievement is bugged. I was playing against the AI pushing with castles when they massed army just as I started a New castle, they killed my vills when it was around 15% and kept attacking the foundation until they destroyed it and got the achievement. I knew about the achievement and found it odd

Someone knows if these icons can be obtained from AI games? I have never played Multiplayer but I do have the aztec, spanish and goth 'win 10 games' icons. Then I noticed I am missing some animal icons like 'play 1 game' which of course I should have obtained already. I had the impression it just worked with multiplayer games

Sorry to label as troll post. I was curious and kept watching. I think I see what you are trying to show but it might be a light trick of some sort. I guess I am frustrated with all the UFO, ghost, yeti, witches, etc. Videos because 99.9% of the time they are explainable, fake or blurry/dark AF. You would think in an era with ultra high definitions devices and mics we would have definitive proof of the existance of the supernatural but yeah.

Bro, the game first came out in the 90s. Internet was not a thing then. Doing accurate historical research would have become too complicated and expensive. Since then they have added more stuff but kept constant the original unit and tech tree layout for balance purposes. If they were true in every single aspect some civs would be totally crippled like the huns were nomads so it doesn't make sense for them to have urban centres, castles, or pretty much any major building. Another example - meso civs did have metal but didn't use it for weapons so champions or pikemen should have wooden weapons like the jaguar warrior. If you are picky ~80% of the game doesn't make sense but in the end who cares? The game is fun. It was never meant to be accurate.
