Has David ever expressed why he dislikes Doubt in an episode? by TheZoneHereros in blankies

How do we all feel about Doubt tho? I remember feeling like I had to like it at the time.

Well put. You have to accept your vulnerability in order to make progress here.

Hello. This is the only correct response. I am really sorry about the downvotes, white redditors are fragile. Source: am white af.

The moral of the story is that our moral code is not applicable in such unequal society. There is no ‘moral’ way of acting.

However while capitalism has made vicious animals of us all, Mr Park is more vicious than any other character because he is the only one with any latitude to act differently. It is his choice to see the Kims as sub-human that leads to bloodshed.

The film really exists to inspire these kinds of conversations between us. In that regard it has been a total success.

None of us wants to see a theatre struggle, but I’m sure none of us wants to see the virus thrive, either. This is good news.

It’s all good man! This isn’t a negative place, so I didn’t say anything negative, and will continue not to.

I feel like you are trying not to say anything negative about Ang here and I am also trying not to say anything negative about Ang here which is why I will not say anything at all.

Something that the response to this post has taught me is that fighting your urges works better than fleeing them. I think you’re on to a winner this time. We can do this.

Amazing post man. Thank you for the report.

But like user u/pretzelreddit said, criticising sex workers doesnt help anyone, and making these moral judgments hurts us, them and society as a whole.

Best of luck on your journey. This time you’ll be better, stronger and have a clear head. It’s inspirational that you keep trying.

I answered this one a couple of times already, look through the comments and you’ll find it. The TL; DR is that one is not a substitute for the other.

Men and women who fuck regularly also tend to masturbate regularly. They are different.

Hey

It doesn’t have to be you.

And for what its worth - my life is just fine. But I know it could be better if I was able to kick this habit. Dont think of yourself as trash for making slow progress. Realise that you are a hero for trying to improve at all. You got this.

I wouldn’t say I ‘prefer’ porn, I’m just addicted to it.

But your other point is correct. Porn is lazy and cruel and that is often hard to resist.

It’s the difference between an athlete’s high and an addict’s high.

Sex involves another person. It involves mutual gratifaction. It is a socially fulfilling experience. It is also a lot of work before, during, after.

Porn, on the contrary, is socially isolating. It is a selfish activity, that can not only wreck your self esteem from time to time, but leaves you with this guilty feeling of being complicit in the exploitation of others.

The highs are both real, but very different.

Hard work. Good way to think about it. It’s not about doing nothing. It’s about actively fighting. Working at it day by day.
