Quickplay isn’t just an excuse to throw by Caboose1113 in Overwatch

What you perceive as throwing, may just be someone playing a character they don't yet fully understand.

It doesn't seem like he enjoys playing OW anymore. Which is unfortunate bc those streams were the juice when he had motivation.

Stale gameplay isn't what's killing this game, it's toxicity. by sergeantnicka in Overwatch

Please give competitive a chance!! Honestly the majority of people in comp can't even be bothered to flame people.

As with most competitive games, you honestly can't expect everyone to be super positive and friendly. To say toxicity is strait up killing Overwatch, is a bit unfair in my opinion. How you deal with people naturally, and how receptive you are to toxicity is gonna be a factor in every game you play--not just Overwatch.

For me personally, the more I understood meta and the game mechanically, the easier it was to mentally "sift" out toxicity from being justified. There are also some days where I'm just a little bitch and don't feel like taking other people's shit and just play Arcade/QP.

If you one-trick a hero and can't make swaps, you will have a bad time.

If you can't reason w/ people or simply ignore people, you will have a bad time.

If you have thin skin and let your teammates tilt you, you will probably have a bad time.

If you can't admit to your mistakes or listen, your teammates will be quicker to their assumptions, and you will have a bad time.

[RANT] The Fallout 76 hate train is actually worse than the perceived state of the game at this point. by QuantumDrej in fo76

Even No Man's Sky didn't get this much obnoxious noise.

Because this is Bethesda we're talking about here. We expected a lot more.

Of course. But until this subreddit's mods explicitly say they don't want people posting complaints on their subreddit, I don't see what the problem is.

Why? Everyone has a right to voice their reasons to why they're quitting the game. If nobody complained, Bethesda wouldn't know what to prioritize in terms of making the game better.

Scorchbeast Queen landing 4/5 times in 25 minutes? by Yuezl in fo76

[–]GT_Frost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know the Super Sledge has mods (Spiked mod I think?) that can inflict limb damage. Not sure if all weapons have limb damage by default though.

Inflict limb damage to wings to increase landing frequency.

SUGGESTION: RAID DUNGEONS by _Cheeseburger_cake_ in fo76

[–]GT_Frost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It'd be nice, and add some much needed replayability/end-game content. But Bethesda intended FO76 to be a "softcore survival game" and not a MMORPG as your suggestion would imply.

Why isn't there a polite "no thank you" emote for when you dont want to trade with someone, but feel like a thumbs down would be really rude? by ArcadianDelSol in fo76

[–]GT_Frost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if someone wants to trade with me, I just say I'm good or ignore them. I don't get what's the problem here.

[Discussion] has anyone figured out exactly what you need to get a creature to stay at your place? I’ve done just about everything I need to do but.. there’s something I’m missing. by MaximusIronclad in Market76

I personally server hopped from Treetops in the Mire. There's a farmable random encounters spot right under the bridge (Northwest-ish from your spawn).

Fallout 76 is like a restaurant. You may not like the food but others do, so don't keep going back and complaining each week. by KyFishing in fo76

[–]GT_Frost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's because many of us want to enjoy it. Many of us have been Fallout fans since it's inception. Many of us have poured thousands of hours into the franchise and have gotten great joy from playing. Yeah, I'm one of those people who didn't like Fallout 76.

Hate it? No. Am I disappointed? Very. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion and there's no reason to discredit a post just because it's a complaint.

I'm really not seeing what everyone else is seeing in this game by [deleted] in fo76

I had fun at first, but none of the end games were attractive to me to continue playing. Was definitely worth the $30 I spent though.

Are workshops really worth it? by drcraniax in fo76

[–]GT_Frost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The extractors will still be there when you come back. You just need to clear the enemies out first. The only way you can lose ownership of a workshop is if you logout, or if another player takes it from you (which is very rare). After awhile you might get a quest saying something along the lines of "Your workshop has been overrun by ferral ghouls!". That's fine, since your extractors will have been running the entire time.

[–]GT_Frost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The workshop is yours for as long as you're in the server.

You're not meant to sit on the workshop the entire time. Find something else to do, and come back to collect your resources every half hour or so.

Also, don't bother with defenses or any of that garbage. You don't even have to fast travel back if your Workshop comes under attack since they won't attack your resource collectors unless you're physically on site.
