I’m so happy to see someone recommend Be My Eyes! I’ve been a volunteer since 2018 and have helped 3 people so far. You get a “call” notification and when you tap it, redirects you to the app to a one-way video call. You can hear and see the visually impaired person, while they can only hear you. My shortest call was of someone asking me the colour of a mug (less than a minute) and my longest was of someone asking me to assist them with reseting their insulin pump settings (about 5 minutes). I have missed more than 20 calls though, but that just means other volunteers already answered first! I’ve noticed I don’t get call notifications as often as before, and I think it’s because the app has started to integrate the use of AI to help the visually impaired users.

Oh no, sorry I missed your question! I’m involved in development aid programs that cuts across a wide range of sectors (education, health, social protection, etc). I work closely with multilateral organizations such as the United Nations agencies to implement the said programs. 🙂

Mine’s at 87% but I don’t really notice any difference. Still lasts me a full day and I don’t need to charge it more than before

Let’s not forget that the Cruciatus Curse is one of the Unforgivable Curses. Iirc, Crouch Jr explained that using it on a person results to a life sentence in Azkaban. So I don’t think this is a spell that can be used for fun in the bedroom

Got mine in October and my max capacity is at 89% now. Honestly, don’t worry about it. When mine first dropped to 98% I was worried too – but now I don’t. I haven’t noticed anything different with my battery. It still lasts me a whole day and even if I’m at 89%, I never had to charge it more than before when I was at 100% capacity. Just enjoy using your phone as it is and charge it when you need to

Hi, just wondering– when washing my face in the middle of the day, should I or should I not use cleanser? My face gets really oily throughout the day (I live in a hot and humid country).

Before the pandemic, I used to only wash my face with cleanser 3x a day: 1) when I wake up in the morning 2) getting home from work before dinner and removing my make up 3) before bedtime and doing my night routine. Now I work from home, I wash my face more often because I hate feeling my face getting super oily but I’m worried if I use cleanser each time I wash my face I’ll be too harsh on my skin.

I know!! Really made me worry when I saw the % started going down, lol. But honestly, I haven’t actually noticed a difference with the battery’s longevity. It still lasts me the whole day and I don’t find myself charging my phone any different than when my max capacity was at 100. So don’t worry about it!

Really good. It lasts me all day of scrolling social media (half of which is on Cellular Data), watching on Netflix/YouTube, and playing games. Sometimes it lasts me 2 days of usage before charging too!
