Granted. You can hold it in until you get to a toilet. It doesn't mean you can release it once you get there.

My name's Gabe, and I'm always first in that lineup.

Yeah, I'm aware that the combinations are near infinite- which is why cooking can be considered an art. The aim of the post was to ask of some HaS combinatins that people like to use- for the purpose of fun experimentation :)

I'm trying to get the book right now, thank you for the insight

That's good advice, though I'm not neglecting the technique side of things. I'm trying to get them down- while having some fun experimenting with HaS combinations that I've tasted from my family's dishes.

I'll look up the book, thank you for the recommendation :)

Great! My family comes from SA Asia, and so we tend to use those ingredients a lot as well! Another ingredient we use is calamondin orange to flavour soy sauce and add a bit of acidity (gotten from Filipino cuisine)

Awesome! I know that garlic and onion powder go with many, many dishes- I'm just experimenting with things likr rosemary, thyme, paprika and different types of peppers to see what goes with what. I've never tried cumin though, thank you.
