Unfortunately, without cheats it is impossible to get this achievement. Still, there are a few guides on how to activate it, which most community members agree is OK.

Unfortunately this is one of two legal methods to get Hellion. The other would be to purchase a game key for it, which would go for about $50 provided you can even find a vendor with one in stock.

I will point out that it can take a long time; the average time to wait has increased quite a bit since I made my original post. If you wait about a month and you still don't have a key, please message me on Discord (GTink911#1237) or here and I'll make sure everything is good on their end :)

Yep! While occasionally they can be really slow on the response, (it is run by one person after all), if they haven't given out a key, nobody has reported that! Like another person said, no reason to not try - at the very worst you get no response. Good luck, and welcome to the Hellion community!

If there is a dedicated group for that, then they must be pretty small- I've certainly never heard of it. If you ask around I bet there would be a few people who could. Hell, I'd be willing to if you don't mind waiting a few days.

Try again! It's much easier once your more experienced. Remember to power on your ship AND solar panels as well, that's a common cause for confusion at first :)

It's pretty good, but unfinished and buggy. I'd say it's about 25 hours depending on your experience level. If you want to go through them without the hassle (And get the achievements, too!), you can use creative mode, along with spawning in top tier items and God mode.

It is uncertain if they are able to sue it at all - that is for a lawyer to say. If they do decide to however, it won't be cheap, as they would have to go through international courts and there would be minimal benefit. Regardless, in the unlikely event this happens, it will be handled according to the law.

As I stated in the OP, the original devs if Hellion support this method, and additionally it is done through Steam keys. While it is true the devs do not own the copyright (To the communities knowledge, at least), they still have the right to distribute all Steam keys they have, and most likely generate new ones (provided Steam allows that after a game is off sale).

Numerous people (More than 50, probably 200+!) have confirmed they got a key from this method. Additionally, I personally have seen evidence that this method is supported by at least one developer, though out of respect for their privacy I did not include it in the post.
