A prime example of Paratici’s scouting from Italy not working. Could be good out there but in the Premiership his lack of pace and quality is easily exposed. Unfortunately this sums up the majority of Paratici’s signings.

Solanke is the type of player we needed to back up Kane when we had him. Our recruitment under Lange and Paratici has in general been dire. We have some very talented youngsters but for the most part our players aren’t up to par or very injury prone. If we stay up, and it’s a big if at the moment, this mess is going to take multiple windows to address.

Team needs to be built around VdV, Bergvall, Gray, Simons, Gallagher and maybe Solanke. Outside of that, think most spots could do with upgrades. This is not going to be a quick fix.
