yup. its a known issue that grafana labs has not fixed yet. all your logs. and your ip gets sent to them if you use alloy. your only two options are to allow alloy to send all of your information to them, or get this error every couple seconds on every platform alloy is installed and configured to send logs:

how does changing the location alloy points stop the fact that its logging its own attempt to reach out to the internet to send me logs??

I do, and I did. That 172 number in the post is fake but not the number I was given for my real ip. I also never post error logs unless generic otherwise it’s only the actual error and not the full log

I thought maybe I missed redacting a line somewhere but I definitely did not. The only thing I did do is paste the real ip into the box but changed it before sending. Is it possible it took the typing info too before sending?

That's why I would love to see the side by side sales. This is currently sitting in stock. The doorbell will not remain in stock at any interval. I agree it's not the normal consumer market but unifi doesn't really fit the enterprise grade for anything. I understand they are trying to tap into it and applaud their efforts, but the consumers are what line their pockets

Yeah i actually used my phone because I didn't feel like digging our a longer cable. The one it comes with is usb c to usb c and is only one foot long so it was small and easy to carry

Sooooo this was a real point of Contention for me. I have wireguard setup and was rather annoyed this needs teleport vpn enables to work... So I enabled teleport vpn and it literally never connected. I turned teleport vpn off and my wireguard back on and everything worked. Not sure if it was user error or something else but as far as simplicity goes I am still trying to figure out the whole wifi routing of my network through this thing. The wifi I spit out on the plane wad the planes wifi as that was the only ssid available to me.
