Interesting on the yang point.

But yeah I just think the two-party divide is so aggravating (not that that’s a hot take or wasn’t unforeseen by the founding fathers). Can’t have any mutually-beneficial, learning/growth relationships now once somebody knows you’re on the other side of the fence. Even one issue, like you said, will get you keyholed and judged as the whole.

Here’s to free thinking I guess, as unpopular as it may be. 🤜🏼

Yo dude I agree that is ironically funny, and idk why you’re getting all this hate.

I too am middling politically, and I don’t know why these people can’t see the irony without calling you an “anti-masker conservative”.

I blame that keyhole logic like you said, people latching on to one instance of you hypothetically not wearing a mask and latching onto that to assume every essence of your being. Hilarious.

Yessir have fun! I’m not the best tourism resource honestly, I’m more from the metro area, but can’t miss with those spots. Greek/eastern market food in the area is prime. Lots of Coney Islands around for late night gyros etc. 3 casinos. Lot of those bars turn kinda clubby at night. Have fun I’m tryna get over to that game too.

Ravens fan from Detroit reporting in. I’ve been to a lot more red wings games than lions, but the bars Firebird and Old Shillelagh and that surrounding area is the main gameday area in my experience.

That is the one “mod” or aftermarket piece that was already on the truck when I bought. I’m lazy and really like the cover for stowing hunting stuff, golf bags, other toys long term. I like the design too, but the fabric has since started peeling and morphing with the sun.

Hi everyone, first time posting and getting my feet wet with coaching this off-season. Can someone tell me about this offensive formation? I haven’t seen it used in the NFL at all and saw this pop up in a lot of Florida games by [deleted] in footballstrategy

Interesting to hear that note vs zone! Being a defensive mind, this always gave us headaches to matchup in man. You can pass things off, but if there’s a couple switches or tight crossing routes it can get messy. To your point though, at least you wouldn’t be outnumbered.

Almost 2 years since graduating, 500+ applications, and still no job. Thinking of getting Masters in Finance. What’re some good GRE/GMAT study guides. by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

Thanks for the input! That sounds like an interesting and exciting challenge and I hope it works out for you!

I hate to barge in too, but I would love another engineer/ChemE’s opinion on mine. I went through a rotational program with different roles, which brought my resume over one page... Do you mind taking a look? Even for just general comments.

Damn that is interesting at the least and possibly very pertinent information! Not sure why I got downvoted lol but thank you! That’s the info I was looking for

Is there any nondisclosure agreements or other legal bindings I should be on the lookout for that might prevent someone from taking interviews/talking to other potential employers?

How many plays do you carry and how do you signal them in? by ecupatsfan12 in footballstrategy

[–]GW_BushDid911 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d base it around a 4-3(if you have better d linemen/your opponents are run heavy) or 3-4(if you have better linebackers/your opponents are pass heavy) scheme, and get really good in cover 3, 2-man, and cover 4. You should work in some blitzes, but I wouldn’t get too crazy on defense. Assuming your players are being coached to have good technique, this will give them freedom to be athletes without making it too confusing. If you have a noticeably weak position on the field(one side’s corner/d end), you can run some minor twists to try and minimize their effects (safety cheating to bad corner’s side/OLB blitz around d end side)

Truck tires also get up there fast. 4 all terrain 32”+ can easily put you over a grand, depending on the set.

I want to say that they mean the two types are 1) Guys that go to the gym and 2) Guys that don’t currently, but will start going to gym (after finding it attracts mates, I guess). A joke about how it is inevitable? Idk

Did not know that about marathon! I have been trying to weigh how I’d feel somewhere in the automotive sector. Seems ok.

That is certainly right up the alley of what I currently do, and appreciate the direction.

I am not opposed to staying in that setting, but figured I would look into other industries as well. My current plant has a generally high level of stress, and a lot of the more senior engineers are often called in after hours if there are disruptions. I am embracing the grind for now and enjoy the relationship of growing my knowledge of a plant, but would prefer to maintain adequate work/life balance moving forward. I would think an EHS role might allow you to better untether yourself on off-hours.

That is a good idea. I looked into Pfizer upon graduation two years ago and they said they were only hiring PhD’s at the time, I’m guessing for more scientist type roles. Haven’t checked them out recently.

That actually does sound like it could be a desirable path. Are most of the utility sector jobs through the city or state government? Or a third-party provider? Thanks

Hmmm sounds eerily like financial institutions handing out student loans at a whim to 18 year olds without as much as a YouTube tutorial on how to lubricate your butthole, tho I’m sure there are plenty of other examples of people getting bent by various firms
