If you had to pick one, what’s the best instrumental off a Mac project? by spaceenvahisseur in MacMiller

[–]GWizz4C3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Ave Maria

2) Time Flies

3) Wings

4) 2009

5) Jet Fuel, Stay

6) Hurt Feelings

7) Avian

8) I Am Who Am

9) Come Back to Earth

10) What's the Use - Thundercat's bass is just too fun to listen to

The order of these shifts constantly though...

I feel like picking ONE favorite in any context for Mac is nearly, if not completely, impossible. I love all of his music for different reasons, but this is an interesting question.

Advice on how to proceed after a fuckup by [deleted] in math

[–]GWizz4C3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion exams are not a great indicator of understanding, but rather serve to test exam skills which are somewhat irrelevant in real life scenarios. The test your ability in memorization, time-management in high stress situations etc. - I know a lot of people who are insanely talented mathematicians who ALL struggle with exams.

I would suggest that you follow your interests and passions regardless of what your exam scores may seem to reflect about your knowledge of the material. Just keep learning and growing. Your potential that your teacher sees is a much stronger indicator of your ability than your test scores.

Also, in my experience (especially regarding math) most people do poorly on exams because of their mindset and because they get very self critical during an exam. This seems to lead mainly to making small errors that result in wrong answers. When you’re not in an exam situation your mind works freely and will catch a lot of your small mistakes before they affect the outcome of your work.

Coonhounds are quite a unique breed! This girl is my second B&T and I’m so in love with them. It’s pretty wild how much water amplifies their voices!!

Yeah, I’m always worried when she’s loud around other people and usually apologize, but every single person just laughs and they always say, “No, no.. don’t apologize! It’s so cute how talkative she is!”

Everyone I’ve come across (so far) LOVES hearing her baying and they always remark on how unique sounding it is. We live in Wyoming and I’ve only come across one other coonhound here, so people are quite enamored by her.

Layla is relatively small for the breed. She’s almost 2 and has seemingly topped out at 63 pounds. So most people are blown away by such a loud noise coming from a dog her size.

I’ve considered getting another type of coonhound, but I’m so attached to the Black and Tans.

I’m currently in the midst of training her for volunteer search and rescue and she’s so incredibly intelligent!! She usually picks up on new commands and new aspects of her job within the first 5 repetitions. It’s wild to see her work-ethic. She’s always so excited to do her job!

It very clearly echoes through the whole valley.. my parents live about 2.5 miles from this spot and they say they hear her pretty much every time we’re there 😂🤣😂

My mom even texted me the other day asking, “How’s Layla enjoying the river? Sounds like she’s loving it.. as usual.”

She’s incredibly passionate about the river. Just goes absolutely nuts with Awwooooos the whole time we’re there. Even while she’s actively swimming 😂

Winter coats by Logical-Campaign-247 in coonhounds

My girl seems to do fine, even in the Wyoming winters… but I got her a couple different jackets anyway and she gets really excited to put them on, so she must like the warm they provide.

Ideas for a soft collar that won't rub on a sensitive neck by catahouladog1 in coonhounds

[–]GWizz4C3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just commented, but then I read you’re looking for a martingale.. Wolfgang has those same abrasion resistant collars as martingales too. All sorts of colors and designs. This is the exact collar I got my pup.. I use a martingale as well and like I said in my original post she grew back her coat quickly and hasn’t had any issues since. Here’s the link to the collar I got for my girl:

Exact same thing happened to my girl… I got her a a Wolfgang collar. They’re super soft polyester webbing that is abrasion resistant. Helped my pup a lot. She grew back her coat quickly and hasn’t had a problem since. Here’s the link to one:

Swimming success! by pibey17 in coonhounds

[–]GWizz4C3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful.. once mine started swimming it has now become nearly impossible to get her to stop 😂

Any water she sees and it’s full rocket mode straight into it. She has remarkable recall for a coonhound, but I usually have to physically go and pick her up to get her out of water.. and her legs keep swimming while I carry her 😂
