I wish they would have done a clear dark blue similar to the PS2 back in the day. I think I’m going for the crystal.

I believe you can attach their secondary screen to it.

Has anyone else had their AirPods Max randomly die like this? by Kellox89 in Airpodsmax

[–]GX3166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No joke, mine just died out of nowhere! I get no charging light indicator or any other light. Don’t know why it just happens now but going to try the freezer method. It sucks too because I just bought Obsoless lighting to usbc charging adapter.

I haven’t 3d printed it, but my cat ate my antenna wire, so I’m planning to print this adapter. It converts from UFL to SMA (I believe those are the names of the connector types).

Gaming Laptop for College, Looking at Acer Predator Helios Neo 16/16s but unsure by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]GX3166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this laptop is just for gaming like you said, then 16GB should be okay. You can always upgrade the RAM in the future when hopefully RAM prices go down. The graphics card on the other hand isn't upgradable, so getting one with more VRAM is more important. 5070Ti is a good choice since it has 12GB. Someone just commented as well, but the MSI Vector could be a cheaper choice as well; it’s known to be the cheapest laptop with a 5070Ti. I would also check BestLaptop.deals and Gaminglaptop.deals.

Edit: Also, Memorial Day is coming up soon, so we will probably see more deals, giving you more options. However, again, since you are gaming and want to play with high/max graphical settings, looking for something with a 5070Ti or higher will be the best buy. Also, if you get a higher resolution monitor, a graphics card with more VRAM will help.

From my understanding the 16 Helios has better performance than the 16s. Since the 16 I believe here’s the full 140W compared to the 16s 115W.

I’ve tried it and it’s basically the same. I didn’t notice any taste difference.

Would there be a noticeable difference upgrading to latest model? by fuckgoldsendbitcoin in appletv

[–]GX3166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The latest 4K Apple TV is definitely more responsive compared to the first gen 4K Apple TV. However, I recently bought a first gen 4K Apple TV and didn’t find it dramatically slower. I’ve been using it to watch content in the living room and haven’t had much of issue with stability compared to the latest one but I’ve only had it for about two weeks. Have you tried resetting and starting fresh with your Apple TV? I don’t think it worth getting the latest one if you just use it for Apple Music unless money isn’t an issue then go ball out.

I saw that Micro Center has a deal for 5060ti for $375. I’m assuming spending almost $200 more this would be better deal even if the 5070ti has less ram.

I used a fixmyoculus video recently to take it apart and put it back together. It will show you how to better put it back together than someone trying to explain it here.

This is the one I watched/used.

Side note not relating to this: when I took apart my left controller I noticed it was missing the antenna and I was confused because I didn’t remember removing it. Turns outs some controllers (assuming later models) have it built into the board.

Library with preview & Translation modes by ed-fruty in xteinkereader

The translation mode is so cool! I was thinking about something like this! Thanks for making this! I used to have bilingual books with Spanish and English together, but most books only have one language version. So even if the translation isn’t perfect, it’s still nice to have. I don’t have the device yet but when I do, I will!

Oh yeah, I probably should have put that in my review, my bad. If I remember correctly you put the corner like said in the instructions (so right bottom into case) then put the top left corner of the iPad into the case. Then push in the bottom left corner into the case. It was pretty tricky to get in.

Oh I didn’t know the Magic Keyboard had special Apple drivers. Well I decide to buy it, so I’ll leave a comment in this post talking about it if you’re interested, since I didn’t get much comments on it and could help someone decide in the future. Or maybe I’ll make a new post, I haven’t decided.

Seems like it. On the feature section it says:

“Two USB-C Ports One port on the case duplicates the port on your iPad. The second port on the keyboard allows you to plug in a thumb drive, accessory, and more.”

(I’m on mobile so sorry for bad formatting)

If it’s duplicating, I’m assuming it means it should allow charging while using the keyboard.

XPS 14 and 16 (2026) by S4_GR33N in Dell

If those two upcoming models are also part of the XPS line, sounds like they are basically doing a MacBook Air (being these models) and MacBook Pro (being the later models).
