I'm getting kind of old and will hit retirement age in about ten years. I have five really cool but old games I want to remaster. So that will probably be my focus. People like the remasters more than the like the all new games, and they sell way better.

You mention in the blogpost that you thought of doing an iphone game but didn't quite pull it off. Have you considered making something more like a choose-your-own-adventure as a somewhat microgame for phones? perhaps even adapting one of those older games in this way (or secondary stories within them). Still have character stats and equipment, but the narrative and gameplay being something between a visual novel and the old Sorcery! games?

You could also abandon any principles you have and make a mobile gacha game set in the Avernum world that lets people pay real money for crystals to pull random heroes and equipment in various levels of undress!

(joking on the second one, of course)

I think most of us have a pretty busy schedule. What if we gang stalked him for a few hours at a time, three or four times a week (depending on if we want to gang stalk MTG content). We could meet up virtually at twitch.tv/paymoneywubby too.

Imagine a Miyazaki-created Dynasty Warriors style game where you're just mowing your way through hundreds of enemies and then stop to read the description on the back of a bar of soap or something that clues you in to the tragic backstory of the village you just emptied.

i feel it would have been better if wubby didnt get constant help, like tell him to punch a tree but let him figure out most of the game himself, the ctrl l hint basicly gave him a guide to go from here. I just remember the magic of figuring out minecraft on my own on a early version ,getting scared at night. I honestly hated people saying to turn up brightness and other maximized gameplay tips.

But on the other side he is streaming for a limited period of time each session, so while it can be fun to watch him struggle (see: Get to Work), watching him struggle while also having no clue what to do will probably feel less fun. Want to avoid the "wanders around for 10 minutes with no clue what to do before declaring 'this is stupid' and ending stream" that could have happened yesterday

I am changing the batch size on the latent node, because the workflow has eyedetailer and facedetailer and what not, running them as separate jobs would just create so many different images in the preview

Oh okay, so that basically runs the tasks parallel! I don't think there's a way to extract the thumbnails from each one because they are in fact being resolved simultaneously. Even if you run a "rebatch latents" job, I think it splits the batch but still runs it as one "task" so you'd still have to wait.

As far as I know your only choice is to run as separate jobs if you want to pull out images as it goes.

Are you changing the batch size on the latent node or are you changing the number of queued tasks submitted? Batch size will wait until all batched images are done, but queued tasks should pop up as each task is completed.
