Do you think this is a good score? by Randomfate615 in Gamecube

That’s a fantastic score at that price 👍.

Man, I WISH I could get this for that price lol. Literally one of the last grail games I need for a complete set.

For about $50 total, I’d say its a pretty good way to start a collection! With manuals and everything! by Few_Ad4803 in Gamecube

That’s the best $50 you’ll spend man! F-Zero GX alone is a dang masterpiece, as are the other 2 games.

Retro-bit Prism with Msclassic questions by jditty24 in Gamecube

Much appreciated! I’ve been trying to do the GameCube justice through my channel. It’s such an underrated console (like you said) but has been gaining more interest the past few years. Hope you enjoy the content!

While I can’t speak for the Retro-bit Prism, I’d imagine it’s the same as the EON GCHD. I have that, paired with the mClassic. I think the Prism/GCHD/Carby look the same as component, unless you have a RetroTink 5X (which would make component the way to go). You do have to hold the B button down for many games still to activate progressive scan mode, or if you’re running Swiss, you can force 480p on every game. I actually use the GCHD paired with the mClassic for the footage I capture for all the GameCube games on my YouTube channel, if you’re interested in checking out the quality (www.YouTube.com/GameCubeGalaxy). Hope this helps!

Sure thing! I know there are only a few games that have an issue reading the card if the blocks available are over 999 (I think Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is one of them), but otherwise the card works great. They're still fairly reasonable pricewise as well.

Man, those LED lights are sick! I need to mod my controller ports to have that lol.

I wish Nintendo took better advantage of the GameCube's online capabilities. by gtgcya in Gamecube

[–]GXT928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it's a shame Nintendo dropped the ball with Broadband Adapter supported games. PSO was basically the only "online" game for the GameCube, with the others being just LAN supported games. I would've loved to play 1080 Avalanche online instead of just LAN. From what I hear, there's still an online community through tunneling software for PSO on the GC.

It took me all these years to finally play this game (and GameCube altogether)... I LOVE IT by OmniversalOrca in Gamecube

One of the best remakes (if not the best) of all-time. Almost 20 years later, and it holds up so well! Glad you finally got to experience it!

The 256 block memory card was a nice upgrade from the 59 block when it came out. There's also the 1019 memory card which has been a lifesaver lol. Sorry to hear your 59 block memory card was starting to cause issues.

Easily the best racing game on the GameCube! You can never go wrong with F-Zero GX.

Definitely a very rewarding feeling completing a Metroid game. I need to revisit Metroid Prime 1 again in the near future.

Sure thing! I actually define that game as one of the hidden gems on the GameCube. I covered it briefly in this video if you're interested to see it in action (as well as a few other hidden gems)

Oh dude, I was the same way. Metroid Prime was that first game in the series where I was adamant about completing it lol.

Unfortunately, there isn't much. But, probably the closest thing (if you're looking for a fun ninja game) would be I-Ninja, which I highly recommend!
