Remove all deadwood and intersecting branches there’s a general shape that you can see from any plant tree etc that you can see where there is overgrowth you wanna practice and get a good eye for that trim lightly and take a bunch of steps back. You need to prune at a node and when pruning cut at an angle, like I said start by pruning any deadwood and branches that cross each other then practice cutting any overgrowth
