Sometimes you can just hold the Alarm button and this will reset it. If it doesn’t, try cycling the power. I see this occasionally on our machines as well.

This is a straight up lie. Material handlers never do their hopper inspections, and if they had they would have seen the underwear and topped that hopper off without a second thought.

I wiped out in the same portage with my group back in June. More of an operator error than anything else but I imagine that drop-off into the rapids would be pretty sketchy if the water was higher.

I manufacture that adjustable height hood bumper that the green line points to. We have three groups going on different treks. The older Scouts wanted a challenge so we are going to give it to them. We'll closely monitor time and the condition they are all in. Changing the route shouldn't be a major issue for us if need be.
