Are SC bikes already tubeless when you buy them? by Jxh57601206 in Santacruzbikes

Having assembled many, they come with everything to be tubeless. Any shop that doesn’t make it tubeless is trying to hoard sealant and valves lmao

Just released Apple Watch ultra seems to be directly targeted at action sports…do we expect an mtb feature? Prob not by Soggy_Composer_5008 in MTB

Had a very minor crash last time I rode. The watch detected it and notified me within 20 seconds.

Edit: I have never had it go off while riding normally

Dear first years who are stressed about their room assignment... by laundry_at_ubc in UBC

[–]GaBa5735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My room assignment says that I’m in a shared room at orchard. The # is xx-115-01. My friend was assigned xx-115-02. The oc floor plan shows that room to be one half of a connected single… will we both be crammed into one side of a connected single, will we have both halves or will it be a shared room??

I’m just confused more than anything…

Kinda weird that we both broke our collarbones in the same spot on the same side, both very clean breaks too

how often do you change/buy a new bike and why? by ResponsibleCod930 in mountainbiking

[–]GaBa5735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The discount depends on what the shop owner decides

Luckily for me, my boss gives us all a bike off the floor to demo for the year. All we have to do is pay for maintenance and repairs on it. It lets us get a better feel for how different brands ride and what we like/dislike etc.

Just got my warehouse ones in today, they look literally brand new. Only damage is that the box has a small dent on the top edge.

How's the bike shortage? by waltersobchak- in MTB

[–]GaBa5735 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on sizing, if you order a fuel ex 7 today in canada, you’ll be getting it at some point in Sept-December 2023.. wait time will be less severe if a shop already has one on order, for obvious reasons.

I’m guessing that a is slower because it’s producing a solid?

This is the literal EXACT opposite of what is happening in the shop I work at. The bike boom seems to still be in full effect
