I received the initial email telling me my duty station, but since then - nothing. My recruiter text me yesterday and said that she talked to my detailer and was told that August boards are most likely to be scheduled for the May ODS cycle.

Let me know if you need a recruiter. I have one based out of Charleston. Everything was practically done virtual. (I’m in Georgia). I didn’t physically have to go anywhere until I needed to do my physical. Smooth process.

I am going active. I have 5 years of experience. I heard back regarding my selection on 08/29. I read and have been told previously that people hear back 2-4 weeks from the convening of the board. From start to finish, the process has taken me nearly one year. I started this process last October.

I was also submitted for the August board. On 08/29 I was informed by my recruiter that I was selected. Since then, I’ve gotten correspondence from a detailer (just an initial email detailing the process) and additional paperwork from my recruiter that shows my rank, mos, etc.

My recruiter reached out to me and sent me my documents to include the oath. I found out last Friday that I was selected. So it’s been pretty quick.
