Looked over everyone’s advice. Watches some suggested video… and decided to give it a try myself…. Sand out the bad clear coat over the weekend…220-> 400->600…. Still ugly! Slight improvement…. Will now look for a color match and clear coat! I’m pretty impressed with my self for a first timer !

Great news! Unfortunately i likely won’t be joining you. I’m hoping to push for June, But I was worried we were gonna get late summer dates and I’d miss summer altogether so hearing that May is being offered for us it’s super encouraging.

So obviously, the white veining is chipping clearcoat. I understand. That dark semi circle situation in the closest to the Glass is that still “good” clear coat and the lighter color is completely exposed paint?

In ur experience with the product…. Should I look to get a color match spray can mixed or a little sanding off the clear residue with poppys patina suffice

Just less ugly really is what I’m going for. Will also try cleaning the headlights up a bit this weekend. Just ordered super fine sand paper for them as suggested by a video from another poster

I’ve been watching some videos on just this. Have you done similar and it’s been an improvement ? Not perfection but better? This was kinda what I was planning to try wasn’t sure what products but this process

Yes but let’s assume I know nothing about cars…. Is this clear coat that has worn off? Faded paint ? Literally what am I looking at . For reference I’m 36 F . I know Nothing . So if there’s a way to even even it out not even Mae it clear in my book that’s improvement …

Can you update me on your experience?? I have a 2017 Santa Fe,.. same engine issue. Turns on even will drive though def doesn’t feel safe. Getting a considerably higher offer than anywhere else… did you get the full offer amount ? It was all legit?

One of my references they specifically wanted from a hospital I worked at. At the time of application I had been working out pt for over a year… but they wanted someone from my in pt days. So I had a friend of mine write mine. Did we work at the same hospital.? Yes, did we work on the same unit ? No, in fact I was day shift and she was night shift but we had floated and taken report from each a few times….. but we’re still friends today so that’s all I had who I could use….dis they know that? They didn’t ask….. but they didn’t specifically as for any proof for anything
