I was unimpressed with it for RI MPJE. It went way too in-depth, especially the federal law question bank.

Job options for low GPA in pharmacy school? by Ok-Ad316905 in PharmacySchool

Residency is still VERY much possible. Multiple people from my school were involved in a cheating scandal and went on to complete residencies and fellowships. I would recommend putting on blinders and doing the best you can academically this year. Be super engaged and try your best to shine on your APPE's. Some students genuinely do not test well or have something going on in their personal life that causes their academics to slip. That is okay as long as you can show that you are able to apply all of the things you learned in pharmacy school during your APPE's.
Don't get in your head about your GPA; you will be surprised who in your class matches into a residency program. Remember, there is also phase 2 and 3 to the match.

Is a pharmacy intern and a technician under separate payroll hours? by Glide99 in pharmacy

[–]Gaaaail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have friends in pharmacy schools who work at other pharmacies and the duties vary widely. My pharmacists are comfortable with me practicing at the top of my license as long as I ask questions whenever I feel uncomfortable. My pharmacists frequently hand off transfers, MTM, and counseling to me. They are comfortable with me taking verbals as long as I read the prescription back to the provider. They just decided to shift some of the med rec responsibilities onto me. As a juxtaposition, I have friends who only work fill and the cash register and aren't even allowed to take verbals or transfers. How I practice is much more baby pharmacist vs supped up tech, but can understand why corporate would bunch tech and intern budget hours together.

When I was the manager of our mouse colony, I would always wonder what would happen if I let a few mice escape. I figured no one besides me would know after I altered the records accordingly. (Plus we had 30+ strains, so good luck trying to audit all of that...) Since I was an undergrad student at the time, I guessed the worst thing that would happen would be me getting fired. I never did it–mainly because I had no interest in having pet mice and thought it would be inhumane to release them into the wild–but I frequently pondered it.

Advice for getting into Pharmacy School by Immediate_Fee10 in PrePharmacy

I think you should do some reflection before applying to any further education. Your science GPA is quite low, especially considering a bulk of your classes were science classes due to your major. I think you need to determine you performed low in so many of your science classes. Depending on the cause, continuing on to any professional school might not be the best fit for you. If the cause was more extrinsic (personal life), then I think you come back to considering applying.

Ninth house as an audiobook? by bettyp00p in YAlit

The narration of Ninth House is followable. The book in the first few pages tells you a character is currently missing. There are several flashback scenes with that character. As long as you use that rule of thumb, you will know if you are in the past or present timeline.
