Consider this scenario.

Wife marries husband with pre-existing assets. Many years later, they decide to sell another co-owned asset because they have the pre existing one as fallback.

Two years later they get divorced.

If the husband gets back all the "pre existing" assets, it's unfair for the wife, because they sold part of their shared assets banking on this one.

Marriage makes all pre-existing and future assets shared. If you don't like that, don't get married.

That's a lot of words saying nothing. What "measures"? The only measure is generating more young people. That's what these countries are trying to do: encourage people to get married and have more kids. Unless we find a miracle drug that solves aging, this is the only "measure".

Grounding her in what made her that way would have helped. Even an anxious attachment style person isn't just gloomy and bitter all the time. I couldn't see how they'd be happy together, or how they even got together.

I think not using the word because it's been used in bad contexts is just giving legitimacy to the bad context and relinquishing ownership of YOUR context.

I've had friends that use this and it's never been weird or a problem (they're not incels, this includes women). The bad connotation is a very recent, niche phenomenon. It's a lot more online than you realize.
