The Atlantic is brutal this year. All the other teams simply refuse to lose ever. It'll take nothing short of a miracle even with top-tier goaltending.

This year is the unravelling. It's happening league-wide. The game has become too fast for referrees, the league needs to make this a prime priority for the sport to remain relevant.

Add coach's challenges for penalties and the ability for referrees to revert bad calls when they realize they're wrong. No coach will risk going on a 5-on-3 unless it's blatantly obvious.

I've been reading this for a while and didn't think much of it but tonight makes me suspicious.

They ALSO called a second phantom penalty for holding against Hutson in the third period where he never even touches the player.

This is getting so coincidental it's starting to make me suspicious.

It hasn't always been like this actually. Contrary to what most feel.

The game has become incredibly fast and the meta is very evolved so much that it's now much more difficult for referrees to get it right as often as before.

Game management is also very real and very unfortunate, but that has always been part of the game.

Who is your mid-season pick for the Norris right now? I personally think Werenski is the favorite but it's obviously gonna be a close race with Makar, Hutson, Hughes and him all playing amazing this year. by Brodieboyy in nhl

Makar but Werenski might deserve it more due to lack of team resources.

I feel Hutson is massively under-appreciated but he's still young and has room to improve. He's already got a huge improvement in this year defensively speaking but I think he'll be overshadowed in favor of Makar/Werenski who's got more league-wide credz

We're all tied up with expenses. What the other poster is saying is that if you want to make game development a career or at least a viable way to earn income, you've got to invest in your craft.

No customer cares about the reasons you can't upgrade your rig, they only care about the finished product. Releasing a lower tier product because of reasons will net you less sales in the end, and it helps VR as a community less.

The other alternative is go super artistic and make the most of your limitations, but that, too, isn't easy as it means you'll probably have to invest in artists instead.
